Loving that last point you made about loosing planets during transportation.
But I think a major point that Jaso can be blamed for is not equalizing this game i.e/e.g fixing snipers.

I like this thread. I made a similar sorta one in Suggestions about how to increase activity once again.

My point i would like to make about the game, is the bonuses. Left, right, and even centre, there are bonuses.

What about if we made ALL bonuses 50% of their potential for let’s say a week or two. You have a 100b attack planet? You need 400b attack, not 200b to maximise it. Similar things for ascension and MS. This would mean more units put on the line, and thus more losses, and slower growth.

Another thing, all the ascensions are over the top (IMO), it would be better to make all the bonuses they give about 50% what they are now (25% max stat boost, 30% max chance of AB, adding 50% power not 100%). This would greatly improve the effectiveness of unascended accounts, along with providing more variety. Especially if the un-ascended accounts got say a 35-40% stat boost in their preferred area, instead of 30. Then you can choose. Do i want over-all good stats, or a really good stat, and crappy other ones.

Just my Opinion as it stands atm

25% max stat boost, 30% max chance of AB, adding 50% power not 100%
vs.
35-40% stat boost in their preferred area (attack, ofc  )

I think most people would choose the latter, since they also get to keep all their C/AC levels and UP.

it would be better to just:
- disable all planet making tools
- make abandoned planets have a 50% chance of disappearing permanently
- add a 20% chance that stolen planets disappear mid-transport

those three steps would eventually result in there being few planets left... the added risk that one would loose what one stole will make people think more when stealing planets...
perhaps, for the transit loss system, have it so that one has to wait 48 hours after stealing, due to repairs to planet hauler tech...

An excellent idea - this should f.x. over the summer decrease the number of planets per account by alot.

I would however increase the chances of planets disappear mid-transport to 35 %
One might argue that it's a little extreme but that's my honest opinion.

KJ

If your willing to take a gamble that Jason won't make attack and defence supers the same unit, so your nice little attack can be massed, and you don't mind having about a 60% power deficiency in defence/covert/AC, along with no chance of your defence or attack doubling 1 out of 3 hits, then sure, be my guest ;)

60% power deficiency? You said ascended people should have a max 25% stat boost. You could easily make up for that difference by bigger C/AC levels.

Sorry 50% (25% less defence, and 25% less Covert/AC). For same resources. obviously, if you have unlimited, then it doesn't matter if you get no boost, you can just build bigger.

If you don't need to ascend, you can waste those resources on bigger lvls, while the other person needs to use his naq for ascending.
Ascended bonuses are fine the way they are.

ooh, cause those first 10 ascensions especially are a real killer lol, for what, about 18%?

I'm clearly not talking about the first 10.

Ok then, you have your 35% boost to attack, and i'll have my 18% boost to my attack, my defence, my cover, my AC, my income, and a 30% chance of my attack or defence doubling.

Would this not result in those with untouchable planets, keeping them? And those to small to defend more then 1 planet without merlins, left with 1 planet only?

Also, how do we stop someone whom is paying to keep their merlins? (eg supporter packages). I mean, if your willing to spend $160/month, then you can keep 10 planets merlined indefinitely.
