So what is the role of this new greek letter alliance then?

doesnt the Omega Empire, have enough alliances in the game?

last time i remember PI was your newest allaince, or was it someone else =/ hmmm, ah well.

I am no longer OE - so I sure as heck do not speak for them, but if I were still there I would answer you like this....
It is for OE and OE alone to decide if they want 5 member Alliances or 50....it is none of your or my business how they conduct their affairs...

Pi was certainly not the last alliance of OE ...Pi was Omega Empire's 3rd alliance after the original Omega followed by Alpha .
Delta followed and shortly thereafter MaYHeM joined .

MaYHeM recently moved on so it is just logical they would seek to grow anew with a new alliance.

Quite logical for an Empire to expand...do you not think ? (It is just what empires do )

if everone is moving forward and your standing still you are effectivly going backwards

and it's role will be a main alliance like mayhem was with OE.

it's also a good thing with the new house update, gets you more votes

o gunz, you forgot OSL who got formed after PI and then merged into delta when it was formed

I certainly did not forget OSL . However , you were not around back then and your history is off a bit.

Omega System Lords were a ''protectorate'' of OE...not a full member. It was a seperate project of EnterTheLion . They most assuredly were allies and close friends - a sister alliance if you will ; but neither an Omega Empire creation or full voting OE member.

I do do not diminish them at all , they were a terrific group , but I wanted to set the history right.

i was promoted from PI to OSL, and perhaps rylans OSL wasn't full OE, OSL under lillmia and shornaal defenatly was

I believe I was the first or maybe the second member to join the original OSL, ETL created it... came on IRC and said "I'm the supreme systems god, what system lords here are tough enough to join the Omega System Lords"

He PM'ed me, we talked for a bit and he sent me the invite.

It was ETL's personal alliance(project, as GunZ put it). So allies but not a part of OE.

wel actualy that may have been the start but after rylan ripping of from OE lillmia reformed OSL and ryland made the goa'uld empire. lillmia's OSL was full OE.

the OSL i was in got ppl promoted from PI, had you and ETL as their bosses. were listed in FUALL as OE and later instantly merged into delta when it was created since OE didn't need a 1 race only alliance. trust me, to everyone in it, we were OE
