He attacked me twice tonight...

The forces of Kjarkur fought back with all they could, and managed to inflict devastating damage on Giera's forces! So much damage, in fact, that while running away Giera could not accurately judge the extent of the beating...
They managed to eradicate 42,888 of Giera's troops.

So I withdraw my previous statement regarding him being inactive, don't want to get any more of these attacks.
But I do suggest he spies before trying to hit someone.

Regards,
KJ

got to love that

*grin* No.. it's actually a lot more pathetic on both sides. "If you don't pay me 20T naq, I will mass you."
It's one of those things that only becomes a problem when you let it.

You can only extort uninformed noobs in this game... No one can make you do anything.

Plus if you do the math you will in most cases realise that a massing would be less expensive than paying the demand.

That may be true, but who's to say he won't come back in a month, and want more turns? giving in, just encourages them.

Plus this type of 'bullying' creates an unfriendly environment for newer players, who may leave the game before they get to enjoy it. And before you dismiss them, and say who needs them, without fresh players a game can and will die off, a good example is dunewars, that game is dieing off, partly cause of the amassed power in the few players, and few new players see any hope of doing well.

There's nothing that anyone can do to rid the game of extortionists. There's been a group organised to mass and sit on extortionists in the past, that's the best and ONLY thing anyone can do to rid them. So let's stop whining about them.
