I can't take that seriously when it's so obviouse you don't know what your taking about
Identity is not an immdediate requisite for security. Your not getting on a plane without showing your face. You can still look suspicious while wearing a bed sheet. Even more so since you stick out with it on, making any suspiciouse behavior that much more noticeable
I can figure out who you are/were after i shoot/arrest/detain you.
Yes in canned situations it makes little difference. However in other situations that arent canned it prevents witnesses from providing any useful identification & there have been crimes (in the UK at least) where the perpetrators wore burkas for that very reason, so it couldnt be proved who they were.
I would have expected you Thriller to know that security doesnt just exist in places like airports, border crossings etc but everywhere else too as well as the fact that there are many different types of security provisions.
There is a difference between security and crime resolution.
identifying and preventing crimes from occurring is security.
Crime resolution and prosecution is what your worried about. (the course of justice)
Yes burqas are excellent at hiding your identity. I haven't said otherwise.
But a hooded sweat shirt and bandanna work just as well as a burqa in masking your identity, we should ban those things aswell.
