They really do know how to play perg properly and with excellent teamwork they have perg as putty in their hands.

for your time i have this old posting from the old leader of teh sons. this style of life well soon be relived for you all.

As you probably all know, I am the leader of Sons of Destruction. We rule perg. Some will say we are bullies but it matters not. We are a very independant alliance and will not change our way way for no one. We not only rule perg, but are the caretakers by ensuring it never stagnates full of ultra high untouchable defenses, and keeping things interesting for those who come into our realm. Now I am breaking my own protocols by posting here but hopefully it will clear the air and give you an idea of what we do and why we do it.

First off, defenses. We sab for two reasons, it controls our AS, and keeps defenses in check so that they never get up to rediculous levels. A huge defense means that player feels safe, which leads to inactivity which in turn leads to them eventually not bothering to play the game. By keeping them at an acceptable level (by our standards) it keeps people on edge so they have to actively bank and farm to move forwards in the game. Believe or not, many in my alliance only have 1T def themselves

Secondly, fleets. We are very proactive in protecting our planets so we often hunt and mass built fleets to prevent them from being used against us, doesnt matter whether the person concerned would use them or not. Fleets are expensive so if you are using them to boost your MS, only use up to 10k, othwise just boost your MS the old fashioned way with weapons and shields.

Third is planets. We do have a few greedy/nasty people in our alliance. They love taking planets either because they are better than their own, or they just like destroying an asset in which someone has invested a lot into (by a lot I mean like 10T or more).

Fourth on the list is we mass higher ranked players (top 500). Generally this is something we do from time to time when bored. We are just keeping things interesting and on par with norm here.

Lastly, officers. They are farmed when too much naq is out (we only do fair hits) and we try to lead them down a path of building so they dont attract the attention of others in our alliance. We generally leave them alone (apart from the farming) but if something catches a members attention, word goes through the CO to try and get things sorted that way.

So in a nutshell, we are a very active and agressive alliance, but we leave plenty of room to manouvre and grow in perg. Please do not complain, we will not change our ways. My inbox is full of those PMs which are ignored. We are a fun bunch of blokes who play the game the way we like to, so just remember yourselves if we ever visit you ingame, that its just a game and nothing to get upset over. If you wear any treatment well and with good jest, you will find the guys are more likely to stop sooner and may even give you a hand.

Why bother massing fleets? 1.5t planet def costs little and even feri can't take that in 4 hits.
