a top 50 attack doesnt even compare with the top 200 defenses ...the defenses have been exploding since the miner update ........

i am seeing more and more 6---------------32+ billion defenses ....

i dont know what to do, but i do know the defenses are going up unchallenged by the attacks it seems .........

i can get money fine now, but i think if things continue how they are going there will be more and more 10, 20 billion defenses with very few people that can even touch that kind of defense. the balance has been upset something needs to be done to change things and make everything more interesting

I have noticed the same thing..

ummmmmm last time i checked, i said weapons are cheaper...not def weapons. I meant make attack more viable by reducing the attack price. A little for the other races, and alot for Tauri, to make the attack bonus comparable to the Asgard.(yes on paper it looks that way now...) But in reality, my #50 or so strike can't get past #50 or even #150 def.

and plus asgard defences are super effective and cost effective cuase they are cheap!

I agree, let's put up a poll about this, and see what forum thinks.

I am on both sides here, I love my defence, and I wouldnt want to lose it, nor would anyone else, but it is way over the top, I mean the top atatck should be very close to the number one defence really, but not even in the top 500, that is just poo

Hmm, I don't know anyway to really fix the def issue, all i can think of is to further discount attack weapons for all races, slightly more for tauri. Perhaps if you have over a certain amount of weapons, instead of some getting damaged when someone attacks you, they get destroyed(awaits the replys while cringing). If you put too many weapons together in one spot, you are always bound to lose some. Same for attacking weapons. Though those move more.

Got a fairly good idea on the comparisons now, my strike worth 3.9bill was ranked 55 my officers defence of 3.9bill is ranked 285, quite a difference really. A 1.2bill defence gives you rank 1200, while a rank 1.2bill attack gives you rank 500 i think a lot of people need to start working on their strikes some more, or forum needs to something about this tendancy towards building a huge defence, i mean it takes about 9bill defence to be ranked in the top 100 now. One solution would be to decrease the strength of all defence weapons by 30% or so, I like my defence but something does ned to be done to stop people just building defence constantly.

maybe if ascending and getting glory points requird all your stats to have over like 5bil? that would help even things out.

That is stupid, coz people will get there defence up first, than just get attack so they can re ascend, soz wouldnt work

its kool, just thought if maybe it required a balance out to assend to they would work it evenly,but i geuss not ey?

I like Spoon's idea. My def will then of course go down, but it'll make for more interesting gameplay. Heck i ran into a guy in the 2k range, who did a huge amount of damage to me. ok, i have a pretty good strike. But I asked a friend in the top 20 to take a shot. HE got dealt a hugh amount of damage also. I mean common, a guy in the 2000's shouldn't be able to deal that kind of damage to someone in the top 20.

The thing is, a person in the 2000s could have a huge defence and covert and a reasonable mothership if they dont have any strike

Okay it is getting just plain silly now

A defense around 16 billion, and i found that in the 5,000 ranks.

I am finding this rather silly, I would think when I find myself in that low of a ranking i wont be seeing covert 21 and 10+ billion defenses but i am. They dont get a mothership and have no attack. Get a decent covert, train a couple million miners, and just let the money flow.

Having this many untouchable people is silly.

If nothing is done about it soon, im considering switching to asgard and doing the same myself.
