I'm a repli and I'd go for a decent race war even if I was alone representing the grandeur that is the replicators.

I still maintain though that what the game needs is not great role players, but great players. The role playing can come after that.

Tek the problem with wanting more heroes is that those viewed as heroes by some, are demons to others. Now that's okay if the two can fight it out, but if they can't, then that's just bullying.

There's a problem with that. No matter how great of a player you are, you can't really make an account as powerful as those older ones in so little time. Took me quite a while to ascend even with massive resources. And we all know that an Unknown of the <x> has a greater advantage over unascended or living god+1.

Indeed, the hero/villain divide is a grey area often. Even in the reverse, some of the more reviled characters in game are the most loved by others.

That's complete and utter BS Harchester, because if that's the aim of someone, to make someone else quit the game, then that's just sick and says very little about the mental health of the individual who is aiming to make others quit. What else do they do for jollies? Pull wings off flies and hold a magnifying glass to them?

If that's your aim, Harchester, to make other people quit a game, then hold your head up and be proud that for every person you make quit, that's one less person playing and one step closer to no game because who wants to play a game where the sole objective of others is to make you go away? I honestly don't know how you can twist that around in your mind to equal the survival of the game.

It is a wargame, essentially it is to make others "quit", not the game, but perhaps a war that is happening etc. Quit/Backdown.
But like any game, ppl play differently and enjoy doing other things, war, building, defending, RP. Harch likes to kill everyone.

not gonna lie i dont care bout people quiting it dont bother me at all....i mass people/ allainces cause its fun and i like the way the community react towards it thats all

So Harchester please explain your logic to me, how is massing people into quitting the game essential for the game's survival?

@Apostle, quitting a war is fair enough, however that is not what Harchester was talking about. Additionally Apostle, I am not 'Tek' I am Tekki. Tek is someone else and as such I would appreciate it if you would not contract my name, especially not to something that is being used by someone else.

Its a game, and games are to be played by players, however they wish to play, within the regulations and rules of the game .

If people quit after getting massed, do we really want those types of people playing? Its part of the game. Ive lost countless Units and Naq (Checks ME - FML), u just get up and roll with the punchs.

But anywho, off topic slightly.

RP needs to come back. With some kind of event i think...

I think its asinine to have the view that players who quit because they were massed is a "service" provided to the game. You need therapy! Your not helping anyone or anything by taking away another number to the already growing depopulation of player base, seek help immediately.

I also think RP is good for the game, but not to the extent which it has been done. And even in my participation in past race wars I have come to the realization that it is an act of stupidity. Because many people were massed based solely on the choosing of their race, being victims or "role-played" racism. I think SS has made a sound suggestion, to organize people willing to partake in this movement and to not victimize those that do not wanna partake. And hope participants will not go rogue and victimize those that have no desire to be included, and those that do be punished to the fullest extent possible.
