Just watched episode 10 and loved it.......
Shame about the Khal and very little happened in the civil war, but the dragons being born in fire with the Khaleesi was a great moment, and the Night's Watch riding out made for a great cliffhanger.
I want more NOW, cant believe we have to wait until Spring 2012, hell the world might have ended by then and I wont find out what was going to happen :(

George RR Martin is an expert at crafting cliffhangers... There's usually several in each of his books...

I love this show already.

Any idea when season 2 will be out? I'm already on episode 7 and I really do enjoy the fact characters get killed off, no matter the importance. After all, it shows the true brutality of the realm. :P

I have read the books that are out...they have kept the TV show quite like the books....If my memory is correct we shall see some battles next season (this seasons battle was the midget getting Ko'd and woken up after the battle) if they take after the book (A Clash of Kings).
i do know that the new book will be out next month and it's supose to be long....over 1000 pages.
i am hoping that HBO or what ever network it is on renews it for at least 6 seasons so that we can get the full story...they is a long time gap between books that you need to go back and read the last one before the new one comes out due to the fact you forget certain things :-D
If you have not read the books go read them they are a great long read and they is that much going on it's hard to put it down once you start =D>

That never actually happened in the book, there were 2 battles in the book that aren't shown in the TV series which is a shame as would of been great to see and made what is already very entertaining more so. ;)

the manuscript for "a dance with dragons" was 1500 pages long when it was turned into the editor.

Lots of lovely pages to read...

I think the Editor went to town on it when he edited it then because the finished product has 1040 pgs. Still a nice long read tho. :)

it is more likely that the edited product has a different line/word count per page...

This is just a mere plot prediction, so I wonder what you people will think.
The evil of the north is arising, the dragons are reborn, and the nations are going to war. I believe they will unite under one banner, and the dragons will fight beside them to defeat the evil of the north once more.
That's just my prediction. Although, it only looks that way.. :-k
