Steven (The_Deity) and I are getting married on the 4th of November.
For those who never knew us, or know of us, we used to be a little addited to a crazy little game called Stargate Wars, then the name changed and blah, blah, blah.
I organized an Aussie meet up on the 10th of March 2007 and that is when I met Steven in real life and as they say, the rest is history.
We've been together ever since, and he proposed to me in Italy last year on our Europe trip and now in less than 2 months I will be walking down the aisle in a pretty dress with pretty hair and everyone staring and we'll be married.
You just never know where love is going to find you. It could be next door, or on your mothership or 8000kms north of here on a tiny tropical island called Thursday

It's official. I liked it and I put a ring on it, thus endeth my duties as the male.
We'll let Whitey fill you in on the details while we're away on our Honeymoon.

Your duties as a male extend to procreation too dearest. Many fat babies indeed! Give it a few years though.
Thank you Whitey for your input in all of this. I forgot to mention it in the speeches, and I regret that, but you did a fantastic job at 'pushing' us together and for that I am eternally grateful my friend. Our home is always open to you. Also, thanks for giving back that hard drive. We are able to need it with all the photos that are to come.

There is a good many couples in DDE that play, I will leave it to them to post if they so desire..in 2010 there were 13 active couples.

I don't know about other couples, but we met through SGWs and it is fairly safe to say that I can't think of another situation which would have bought us two together as he lived 3.600kms from me, on a tropical island off the top coast of Australia.
I wonder if we are the 1st couple to get married after meeting through this game?
I guess we will never know.
Oh, a message for Buck if he is still around. This means our deal is called off... if you can recall what our deal was

I know of another Aussie couple that married in Tassie a couple of years ago (20th Oct 2007) after meeting through game.. Midnight Masocist and his now wife Sue ..Silent Bob was one of the groomsmen..
