You are absolutely right there was no alliance button at that time. That didn't mean there weren't alliances

The game was still called stargatewars in 2005...the change to gatewars came quite a bit later lol

Nope, just avoiding anymore questioning about it for now. Doesn't explain some things for me but nevertheless been so long time ago. Mathlord - the first link I was playing on was http://www.stargatewar.com now known as a beta testing server .. then used to be a "update tester" before launching to www.stargatewars.com .. but I just tried the link doesn't exist anymore XD

Everyone played beta server.. and knew about it...

It's only been down for about a month and a half when server changed..

No just pointless arguing about it, was a long time ago. All i can say is when i started in Nov 2005 my ID was 42053 and my 1st quantum wave began in december and was wave 4.

If you all say the game got 42000 accounts made in the 1st 9 months then i guess it did. Hell my current account is id 89014 and according to the recruit ID checker that was made about a year after my 1st one so it's possible.

I'm just going on what people who played before me said and i thought it was almost 18 months of being live at the time i started rather than half that time

Yeah stargatewar has been down since the server crash in September...good times...

Anyways according to the updates page main released 1st feb 2005, quantum wave 1 released 20th march 2005 - if you go by their sites and such then so be it : )

I remember the old content of the game there were only two buttons Attack and Spy (now recon) - stats were only "Strike/defence/covert" lol the game was soooo simple now it's like @.@

I registered late February 2005, my ID is 7889, game was already 25 days old. There were no alliances tag, no MS, no planets, no AC, you were able to get up to 25 officers. I think the game was released first February 2005 as it was very early.
