One rather interesting thing would've been if they had made a movie with a story consistency like mass effect... i.e. main character of uncertain looks (and gender)
imagine watching a movie, only that you could set up the looks for the main character yourself... would not that have been fun? Then, for next stage, you get to pick whether A or B lives... then C or D... and so forth...

good piece of music to sample, think i'll play through ME2 again before i get stuck into ME3.
Having to scan planets for materials though ughhhhhh one of the only faults in a quality game

actually, having to go through the same system for everything (locks, mineral finds, etc.) was more annoying. You won't have the same security system on everything. especially not between species.

The Sheppard looked close, but not close enough..

For some reason (probably due to us having used a female Shepard) it looked off. The question in such a live action clip is where the "live action" ends and the cgi begins... considering previous trailers from this game, its hard to say.

Cringe.
My first thoughts of the game just seem to be..I love it, however, there is some plot holes and reactions from the voice actors that is puzzling. Loop holes if you will?
They have some dramatic scene with Ashley in the beginning of the game where she is all sheepish, and Shepard just gives a peppy "Gotcha!" or something.. I forgot what it was. I immediately face palmed and laughed so hard.
So far so good though. More to come later.

hmm reviving a rather old but relevant topic...at least to me.
Bought it, played it, finished it once (didnt import me2 save, so i am "making one" now).
Great Game. Definite GoTY Candidate for this year. Thanks Bioware.
However, found out that the online-multiplayer function(s) of the game actually effect the single-player story, and effect the outcome and whatnot. Constant play will be needed as your galactic readiness will decrease the longer you stay away.
I also hate banshees.
