A more advanced version... I suggest you drop a few of the rules and perhaps try and engage in 'the semper games'.

The only problem with it is alliances are gonna farm other alliances and eventually someone is gonna get pissed off, pull the trigger, and boom, another alliance war. So alliance wars that drag on will never go away.

No, they won't go away, but if enough alliances take a step towards this then there will atleast be some improvement in the game. We've already seen Ricos of all people showing interest in this, people recognize the fun aspect of it.

Everyone knows the most fun in a war is the first week or two when the most stats are built and taken, hopefully some people actually take a step further towards actually enjoying that part of a war without the consequence of a year or two of bad blood.

i agree, Ricos agree as much as we like killing allainces randomly, theres just not enough players in the game anymore for us to go around hoping people quit so we can add it to our Ricos forums sigs :-D

So we enjoy a good team battle - We make whats left of this game and have fun doing it.
its 6v6 JmX so thats only 6 members in RIcos who we hope will have no defence when they are farmed. anyone who farms Ricos 8or9times out of 10 gets massed if we feel it wasnt a fair hit.

+ Ricos has gotten new players to so its a good way for them to carry on the Ricos name of a good warring allaince. and if it gets to much we sub in some of our experirencd massers and kill everythin :smt025 this game will either die or newer players can help make it better - if anything we can atleast help it out.

Thats when having an awesome diplomat comes in handy.
After that trigger gets pulled, what is stopping both sides to agreeing to reasonable terms through simple discussion/negotiations? :D

Usually what cases negotiations to break down is some **Filtered** making an assinine clause in a proposal.

Good job Mezz, this is encouraging.

Thank you JT, Im glad we agree on this one.

I dont know if it will work but we all have to adapt if we want to keep the game fun & alive, at best this will could be the start of something great, at very least a bit of fun, either way it's worth trying and giving it a chance, and the more influential alliances that support this the better chance it will have long term. I hope when your current war is settled we will see a few DDE teams in the line up :D

FS have had to make some changes to our teams but our first Team Battle is scheduled and others will be confirmed as soon as possible.

I would be interested to hear if any other alliances are planning to Team Battle each other yet ?

I am interested in how this turns out. The majority of organised events seem to have flopped in recent years. The Massing tournament evaporated as people stopped talking about it, Sempers idea initially had people excited. If we should have learned anything from these past experiences it is that it should be set out as simply as possible and have active organisers who keep the idea rolling and moving forward so a good initial experience can be made thus progressing the notion and the interest. :smt117

The best thing about this, is it really isn't an organized "event". More like us, urging the community to make the change, like we're in the process of.

I know LV has been doing this since the dawn of time, and while I don't expect most alliances to make a complete switch over, I do hope that in times of bad blood (or boredom), people consider the team battles as an alternate way to fight it out.

I haz a dream!
