Double and triple would probably be fine, but when it gets to more posts, that's when it becomes excessive.

If a mod finds it excessive, is it really that difficult to merge them together?

Earlier u said triple was excessive, make up your mind.

If this forum was as good as others then there would be a double post mod on the forum to prevent it.

You all complaining about reading stuff is stupid, because lets face it that is all u are doing with double+ posts, reading!

You whine about this forum being too strict now you cry because you have to read more!

I am allowed to change my mind. I thought for a bit, and decided that I think that double/triple would be ok, any more is excessive.

Has anyone suggested to implement such a mod, or know if one exists? This would solve the issue, and remove the double post rule.

Its been mentioned before, just like the suggestion of many other mods.

Jason is too lazy to do the maintenance required to install mods on the forums, and as far as I know no one else has enough access to do it for him. So might as well forget about that and any other mods you've ever had in mind.

Yup thats why this forum will never be as good as other because the admin that has true access is inactive in that regard. Sad that Baz and deni cant do such things.

Another annoying thing about double posting is that there's only so many posts per page and if someone takes half of one page for themselves it's not really a nice read.

So basically it's annoying, boohoo.

Why is spam not allowed? Because it's annoying. (This goes for pretty much all the rules)
I do not see why you feel the need to antagonize me.

Spam is allowed, just keep it in the correct section.

@Clarkey; I am not going to **Filtered** switch off sigs because there are MORONS whose fingers are too damned stubby to properly hit the edit / quote buttons.

+1

Double post is one thing, but ten posts in a row by same person is another thing. I don't see why the majority should adapt to the minority in such a way. That's nonsense.

Yes but the majority of the rules exist to make the forum experience enjoyable and not annoying for us users. Banning double posting goes straight up that alley.

Then I recommend strongly suggesting to Jason to put in a double post mod, they do work great. (I know people have tried before)
