Leave fleet str in, but make it to where we can have fleet battles. Also make it to where fleets only can attack a ms. It's realistic.

If you up the ms power you would have to concider the following
Increase fleets, knock on affect will be easier to attack / mass planet down downside is you would have to re-evaluate planet and platform costs, so if you do 3x ms fleets by rights to equal things out you would have to immediately 3x platforms and planatry defenses, otherwise you would upset too many people
Increase attack on ms, knock on affect would be nice for the attacker being able to attack what was previously a high defense and make it possibly cheaper to attack not so nice because people will complain that to consider this update would cost them trillion of extra naq or uu, so you will upset them
Increased defense on ms, defender would be happy because it would help them keep their naq, providing they had a decent ms defense in the first place, attacker would be cheesed off because they would hit a brick wall LOL
All in all what you have to consider, what is usually expected from a ms, to destroy the enemy ms or to support the ground troops no equal them !
what is the cost ration for 1t defense ms wise and ground troop wise, perhaps it should be a % on that calculation instead of a direct 3x or 5x
Just leave fleets out altogether, only the top top MS's in the game will attack with fleets because its cheap boost to attack,
These kind of updates are making it impossible for the normal player to even compete on any scale at all.
Bigger players dont want someone smaller being able to mass them, but they want to have the ability to sit on and destroy everything that smaller play has,
Maybe if ADMIN J puts this update in place then maybe its time for a rank modifier in MAIN to prevent these massive accounts sitting on small accounts, or something like.

This will stop the massive 12Trill + MS ( after update ) from adding to an already massive strike.

I've been screaming for a rank or power modifier for ages, moreso to prevent sitting and sniping.
