This is done, ranks are 'real time' as well.

If ME in main used in ranking system, it'd be less about massings and more about know what is weighted the most in the ME. Planet stealing is weighted over 16x greater than anything in the ME rankings.

However, if it were included it would help the game increase war, and therefore popularity.

The fact that only 30 people have voted tells you something about how many people read the forums and are caught up on current events ingame, and the lack of players playing.
