Nicky was one of the first people I ever spoke to from FS when I joined all those years ago...

for a while on msn I didn't know who he was because he used his real name and not Mezz, so I refused to speak to him... then we started talking and we became friends.

I had the great privilege of meeting him once as well, it was briliant....

He was my big brother. And I love him very very much.

He is my family.

I'm gonna miss you Nicky

To his family when you read this.... I'm so sorry for your loss... nothing any of us can say will make this any better... but please know that Nick was a big part of a lot of peoples lives.

I know he made mine much better when I needed him.

I'm gonna miss him so much...

Rest In Peace big brother
And please watch over us like you always did

Mezz was the one person in this game that i felt was my challenge, The first time i came across him was the TC,CS,TGR,TYR vs FS war. Mezz had almost the exact same set up and stats/lvls as i did and we spent hours massing each other and chatting via pm and msn about it laughing the entire time. Since then he and I had always wanted a rematch and thanks to my time in HVE we got that with the HVE vs FS team war, his account was a little better then mine at that stage and we went 1vs1 and im not afraid to say he kicked my behind.

Mezz and I are....were great friends sadly I did not get to meet him in real life however I am truly truly honoured to say that I knew the man. My deepest heart felt condolences go out to his family and friends. This world has lost a true legend.

Back in my first days of applying to FS, Mezz took a chance on me...he was a great friend/mentor and I shall forever miss the guy!

My love goes to Mezz :-)

Mezz was considered a great ally to me in this game early on, during my time upon my first time in FS he was a great friend. It's a great shame that we never got a second chance to play together and my joining of FS was just after his departure, it was him who convinced me to rejoin.

My greatest regret is not having the chance to meet him last year.

Mezz, may you find peace and serenity.

OMG, I have had such a bad feeling for him. I love the guy took a chance on me and was a awesome leader friend, and mentor when needed.. I still am in shock as I know he leaves behind a beautiful but now broken family. Things in this game will never be the same for me. You will be greatly missed our joke was always when he signed his name to me he would put Nick the first (as he was slightly older) and I would reply back with my sig and it was Love you to man Nick the 2nd. Little things like that.

He was a calm man and could always cool off the main and FS forums when things got a little too fired up, as they do. In closure he was a hell of a Leader, Diplomat, Fighter, but most of all a caring truly caring person with one of the purest hearts I've ran into. May I see you on the other side, to where you can remember you Serenity...

Love always
Nicholas number 2

To Lord Mezz / Nick,

You left us all too early. Too early. We hadn't spoken in quite a long time, but I didn't think it mattered, always thought there would have been some time in the future. You were my hero in-game, and I really wish we could have met. You were always a gentleman, a great person that I've had the pleasure of even knowing. I count myself lucky to have known you!
You will be missed, but not forgotten.

To Nicks family,

I hope that our words can be some consolation to you all in this difficult time. We are so sorry for your loss, it's a tragedy when somebody so young is taken from us. He was our friend, brother and we unofficially adopted each other (in Forgotten Serenity) as family. Nick will be missed dearly by us all, from all corners of the world.

Dave

RIP Lord MEZZANINE

Don't know what to say here, shed a tear hearing about this, always thought i'd get around to meeting up with him and Brothers. What a guy, calm, cool and collective ingame, awesome anytime i managed to catch him on MSN, hell of a leader, got us through a rough patch in FS. Frontline fighter, threw everything he had on the line for everyone in FS. Was a pleasure to play with and know and my deepest condolences to Brothers and Nicks family.

Rest in peace old friend.

mezz put his reputation on the line for so many of us in FS, and though He was on his way out when I was first getting active, I still saw the side of him that was always willing to help. A true legend, and a great friend.

RIP Lord Mezzanine, didn't really know him (not interacted much on msn) but he was an important member of the community and it's a sad news.
