Yes I spent some money on this game why? because this is one of mine. As to why I spent money is because well I had some trust in this company as a whole, now? Well I guess we will see what happens from here on out.

Huh? I'm just saying IF YOU DON'T spend $$ on this game, you cannot keep up with players that do, which right now is a damn good 70% of active players. Mind you there are and have been active players that could keep up, Toby for instance, quite a few could vouch for that guy.
But the point is, I'm not willing to play a 'free game' that practically forces you to pay so you can keep up.

@mikgamer, I don't know his intentions, main is not my domain and he doesn't tell me anything. I just take the best guess. Chances are he didn't have time to write a formal apology/explanation, or perhaps is rather finding all details to present; who, what, when, where, how.

Chances are it will. Could be perma.

I lost a combined of almost 400mil UU
2tril power off of my MS (on my main account)
I lost 3 ascensions on my NG account (one of which was bought with $10 of my own cash)
I lost all my planets on my NG account

Not to mention Outlook/hotmail are screwing me around so i cant even log in to change my details back over from KJ to me (as my account was his old one and ownership went back to him, he however of course fixed that for me).

Pumped a lot of naq and $$ into my acc last month nevermind 3 months.
Odd my def etc is the same, but my ms, cov, ac, up, planets are all wrong and for some reason i now have lifers trained when i havent had any for a good 6 months O.o

Either way, the term pissed off doesnt quite do my current mood justice!

Haven't lost much - except my legal multi that I had just 'ascended' to main with last week.

I would just like to let us all sit and take in the fact that one of the game admins for SGW is not willing to play SGW. Just find that fascinating.

Honestly, the admin staff has a lot of nerve for how they are handling this. The complete shirking of responsibility, the attempt to play this off on the main page as a "game feature", not to mention instead of being apologetic and forthcoming, all I have seen is going on the offensive against dollar spenders and people that buy accounts outside the game's black market. This notion of "well that's what you get" is pathetic. It doesn't feel like you have any respect for your player base and now, at a time when you all should show a crap ton more humility, you are showing even less.

I don't think you even realize how awful of a thing this is. How many people will be tempted to quit because they or their friends lost so many things that can't be replaced anytime soon.

We get how it happened. Bad corruption killed all the back-ups for the past three months. What I don't understand is how the hell all of your back-ups are vulnerable to such a thing. These should be secured away from problems with running the game otherwise it's not really a back-up at all is it?

Oh well, my losses were pretty minimal...probably about 500-600 tril naq total (after taking into account the 500 tril we got).

@ Juliette, you really think a mega farm-fest would destabilize the game any more than the fact you wiped out 4,000 accounts' progress from the last three months? The game is already screwed for so many.

I lost nothing. I did go into plague tho so maybe lost a half million units. Had I been one of these 3 month victims I would have easily lost 4.5Q if not more!

Pretty sure I would have punched a kitten had that happened. I love kittens too so sad to be put in that situation.

As for the admin staff, they know just about as much as you do in regards to what's going on, juliette and I may have a better understanding, but we haven't been fed any info to give to you, I have asked AJ but only received scraps of info. I still don't know what actually happened and why (Even though I sort of need to know for ascendeds sake). We have no say in things either. So yeah, can't do much. I like to laugh though, could haven been far worse.

some things may have restored to three months back - but others are like yesterday

I lost 20m supers on main account and some off my MS the 500t will just about cover that
I lost an ascention on the legal multi
there is an email link to complain - use it - I did - here's hoping


PS I played another 'free' game for over 6 years then one day they just pulled the plug on it - it was called Netropolis. Two versions are still online run by ex players.
