You're wrong. The owner of the first account could sell his turns for naq which he could use to increase his stats. In any case the amount of turns you receive are static and don't develop thus making what you said irrelevent to this thread. I don't see what your point is as the topic is the possibility of an UP ranking.

And it is your power determined by defence/covert/attack/mothership (i.e. total) that determine your rank - not just one area.
For example - A Tauri who concentrates on building attack will soon get to a point where he finds it difficult to rise in rank any further unless he starts investing in defence too.
It doesn't seem to be 'whacked'.

I'm not a
total noob, you know.
I know about the whole rank updates every half hour. I had just logged on. He had just logged on. We compared stats. I had 3.6 bil total, he had 3.05 bil total... (Yeah, laugh it up... I've only been playing a few months). He was ranked 1500 about, I was ranked about 1700.
"And it is your power determined by defence/covert/attack/mothership"
Sorry, I didn't get that. Is the "it" your rank?
And your rank is your power determined by defence/covert/attack/mothership.
That still doesn't make sense.
Maybe I'm a bigger noob than I thought. Could someone explain this to me?
My idea: Calculated Power = ((at. + def. + spy + anti + ms)+((at_rank +def_rank + spy_rank + anti_rank + ms_rank)/5))/2
Rank 1 would be the player with the most Calculated Power, the person with the least would be ranked last.
This certainly isn't how the ranks are set up, but this is how they SHOULD be.
Make sense on my end?
