I voted for Imhotep.. Tanith was one of my favorites.. (mainly because its the same guy that played Methos in Highlander the Series :p)

And to Osiris - Osiris is not actually the father of Anubis. He only *became* popularly considered as such because Anubis decided to relinquish his control of the underworld to Osiris and Osiris became considered the greater lord of the dead. Anubis being more powerful than Osiris and having Osiris's loyalty in the show is purely the decision of the writers.
