point is... it's in the rules, using an automated process is against the rules.

I don't see how autorefreshing is a damaging automated process. I know that many people use browsers that refresh every so often. Are you going to ban all of them? Half the game will be banned. Many people use Opera.

he's not saying its cheating, hes saying its an enabler to cheat. since autobanking would require people to stay logged in all night. its just a small thing to pay to help stop the cheating.

and if you're massing someone, and theyre online. you already have to wait 14 seconds to attack them again, its very unlikely massing will be affected by this.

I have massed many a' people who were online and not on critical when I massed them. It's a good reason to be really fast at massing. Just beat them down before they can go critical.

Firefox may be faster since it auto inputs the email and password, but thats just a problem only because Forum has done something that Inadvertently Penalises IE based Users, and i wont switch to that pathetic excuse for a browser just to login faster coz Forum thinks its a good idea to put a session limit.

Reprogram your browser for a firefox style tab and run it. Tis' what I do.

So what? If you absolutely need to mass someone, and you're not sure if you'll get logged out because you've been logged in for a long time, log out and log back in before starting.

That you cannot see how autorefreshing is a damaging autoprocess means nothing. It is required to stay logged in to bank, you know, and well, to AUTO-bank.

Also, auto-refreshing is an OPTION in any browsers that feature it. It may be more accessible in some, but it doesn't change the fact that it is an option, and that now you no longer need to worry about abusing it; you'll get logged out after three hours.

forum has made a great game, but recently he has made some terrible additions to sgw, for all his great ideas, these are not any of them.

Your welcome and its not automation because it access you no sites e.t.c and is nto cheatign in anyway .

sure its the 1st step usually used in a macro to login and then the next steps are to go and go bank or buy u.p e.t.c which is why i suggested to forumn to put the login code on the login , so that now you cant auto login with roboform however you can use it to go to the site fill inyour detaisl and then you manually enter the code and click login.

There is no "account acitivity" using this tool automation stops before you gain access to your account thanks to the code so thus it is not "non human being run account activity" you are merely speedign up logging in by having a tool such as features in mozzila enter your data onto the site it used to click login which could be precieved as on the line of account activity but now you can only use *go fill* and you have to manually click login = no cheating = allowed. i hope

I dont see any choice forumn has if he puts limits on automated logins and has automatic log outs he will drive people fro mthe game, i dont mind logining every turn because of roboform , if i had to write everythign otu i would hate the RSI id get ,
and it in no way is giving an unfair advantage it just gives people who use IE the same login speed peopel who use mozzila , maybe a tiny bit more but mozilla guys can use it also you just need a apdater its on the website somewhere. And its not like being able to login faster gives an unfair advantage in game play for you should nevr get logged out if you are nearign the 3 hr mark then logout and login takes a few secs with roboform , and then on the turn you wont be loggedo ut and continue to farm or w.e

And if i had my way you guys would be complaining mroe because you'd be logged out every turn/hour, good thing the admin has you guys in mind. For the way i see it , a cheater can wake up after 3-4 hrs sleep relogin turn there macro back on and then go back to sleep, i just hope admins cheat detection systems allows him to find these scum bags ans crush them.

Clarification, No automation which manages your account whatever they may be is allowed , only the exceptions above are allowed which are not viewed as Cheating or Giving an unfair advantage by the admin team.

I've experienced it a few times, but no big deal.

You don't want to deal with it? Log out/in every 2 hours, 4 turns. It's not really that big of a deal, it's not like logging in is filling in an application to work for the United States Government.

that is different. thats the session expiring. if you clicked something each 15mins (or whatever) it would not log you out....
on logon - a 3hour timer is set. the ONLY way it logs you off in this security update, is a 3hour limit...period.
how the web server deals with your connection (session) is another matter...
