I have more then one forum account actually. I lurk a lot, and just started posting under a forum account that matches my name in game. Not that I have any need to prove myself to you, but I do read the forums every day, I just rarely post, under either forum account. I have been playing this game for more then a year however. Anyhow post count really does not mean anything as far as the validity of ones suggestions.
Have a great day Lord of the Chickens!

Brilliant idea Alabrax!! A message area is EXACTLY what is needed - it would allow people to name their planets what they want without having to resort to some of the abusive (and frankly pathetic) messages that they employ. warnings could be placed in teh message area - and it could also be used to convey messages to other players (even coded ones - lol).
I really do not see the point of all the antagonism and hostility that this perfectly reasonable suggestion has entailed. Some people really ought to get a few things into perspective. I have considered issuing a 'friendly' warning a number of people within this thread for untoward antagonism - you have been warned.

I disagree with this since some people use the space method or naming every planet the same name this would make it so that it would be alot easier for them to hide the planet they stole.

I would have thougth that what I said was fairly self explanatory - there was no need for the unwarranted hostility that was produced in this thread.
Favre - there's nothing stopping people still doing that if a message board was implemented - besides, you could always spy and get the planet info anyway - so they are not really hidden.

TBH I don't have anything particularily new to add, but I feel this idea deserves some more support.
*For a start it's extremely simple (unlike my tweaking of covert idea

)
*It would not be technically difficult (compared to a lot of suggestions) to implement for the game coder(s) (Forum I believe?)
*It does absolutely nothing positive or negative for the game balance.
*It makes the players experience decidedly better in every way I can see.
*As an addition to the game, there is absolutely no need for anyone to use it if they don't want to.

Honestly hidden, you're so dense. It was a creative suggestion. In your opinion it may not be worthwhile, but you go out of your way to suggest that it is crap for everybody.
A) Speak for yourself. As indicated by other posts, some feel it could be useful, some do not. B) Just because you've been around the forum longer doesn't mean you know it any better than someone who's been around half the time. Eventually you pretty much know what's going on. It's not some secret of how a forum or how the game works. You're not king around here, and you're not the creator.
That is why you were warned, because you are ignorant and crass, mainly just being a troll.
As I said creative suggestion, the planets have been creative with naming and may have opened the door for more of a friendly "Sticky Note" attached to your "dossier".

No. Wrong person.
this is only for good suggestions and you arent giving a reason for yours its pointless we cant just add all silly suggestions because they are there
you really are new at this game making a suggestion like that it should be locked
This is where you went from disagreement to claiming lord of the forum and speaking for everybody, as well as insulting. You continue on much in this same fashion.
Alabrax took your "n00b" comment as a take on your post count. Either way, sign up date as well as post count doesn't really matter as I have stated earlier, it doesn't take a genius to figure out the game or forums.
