ok the turn thing, well you would get lets say 50k or 100k or some number and who ever can beat the hell out of the rest of the people gets a finale chamion award, just for winning

Ok, so you give everyone a shed load of turns and watch as they beat the hell out of each other. So what about the stress on the server, and what for? The person with the fastest connection will be the quickest to mass someone? What's the point in that when everyone is capable of doing the same thing. The whole point in The Gate Wars, and Quantum alike is to prove how good you are from scratch.

I understand your burning desire for chaos and destruction mate :P it's admirable too, but seriously, everyone is going to do the exact same thing to each other, each with the same stats, how do you expect to have a winner? It would be the one who gets away, who did nothing in the first place so really, that person hasn't done anything to warrant being the victor anyway.

its who ever can survive, and if the win with everyone haveing the same stats then they deserver to win the finale, and everyone is on PPT for 12 hours to let everyone have a chance to get on, either way this would be fun, this is actually more even because everyone starts with #1 stats and theres no help from anyone its up to the player to win against all his equals ;) so it will be even more equal then starting a Q wave

Everyone starts with rank 1 stats AND had PPT for 12 hours at the beginning. Ok, so, what's the deal there? You have time to change the stats you already have which are worth billions, piled on top of which, you have a trillion naquadah in the bank to add further strike? I'm not sure I see the point in having the stats of the rank one player from the previous round of Quantum to begin with.

There's two ways to play TGW. One is to build stats, the other is to cause chaos (and lose stats, but hopefully take a greater chunk of someone elses right) so, if the winner is judged on rank, then what's the point in all the destruction in the first place? Don't you agree that people would be far more content with preserving themselves for the duration of the week in order to attain the rank one position?

no no not rank, the ranking should be on how much dmamge you take and how much you cause in conjunction with how much you still have

There doesn't even need to be a winner, you could compile the "Legends" page like the current alliance wars stats.

"Most damage dealt" - "Most damage taken" - "most turns used on/against" - "most sab missions on/against", etc,

how about this for the end of Q

last week or so, either

1) turns start running at 5 minutes

2) naq income goes 10X

or some such

oh, and boost how much damage is done per attack, and how much is sabbed ect XD

interesting proposal, yea that would add a bit more stradegy and need for defence so it would be stolen so therefore adding to the overall fun :-D

personally i prefer the first idea, that way the person who tries really hard for the whole wave (or simply buys all his turns etc using main resources *cough* 12agnar0k *cough* lol) doesnt simply get massed by a heap of people and lose all his hard work. and if it were to be done this way all the cross server deals would drop in value, as would my bank :( lol. neway, i think the first idea would work well :twisted: and give people unlimited name changes, so we could hide better :twisted:
