i believe psi was talking about concour, in the begining there were 3 ppl fighting for rank 1 if im not mistaken, silentdd as asgard, psi the replicator and concour the tauri, after sometime, when alliances became a part of the game, he joined the ta, but left shortly after the ta vs ooc war cause saz and ste destroyed his account

and dont forget _Apophis_ who was one of the strongest goualds ingame at the time, and when the strongest left the game (cant remember the name, i think it was something that started with a k ) he left all his uu´s and naq to apophis, making apophis, i believe the first uber account (at the time anyway) b4 elusive used his credit card anyway lol

and why not talk about brothercrit aswell, that jumped from very low ranks to the nr 1 spot in a few turns of farming

and we could be here talking about many tales and about many great players and others not so great, for ages,

but the truth is u really cant compare the game back then to what it is now, alliances werent even ingame at the time, lol, they came after a little while, end of feb, march. cant remember, today sgw is a completly different game, a better one from my point of view

left the game for a while, (that 2nd age wolf talked about) so i missed a few things, but come back to find a much better game, with the introduction of ascension and the market, but then ofc theres always room for improvement

i've never rly left the game persay, but i wasnt even part of an alliance for my first 3 months, so it wasnt until late september that i was finally exposed to the politics of the game and what it was really about. for the msot part thought, i belive the game is better now then it was when i first started to play.

what was juans alliance?
it only had like 10 members but they were very powerful
i think sphere was also in it
but i can't really remember anyone else

No one has mentioned UNKNOWN either.

i believe it was The New Cosmos or something like that

hey, im kind of a noob at this (i've only been a part of it for like- 2 months now lol ) but the history of this game is great! sounds like that there were some real heros and villians back in that time. Now i dont have a clue about SGW politics these days but from what i've read from everyone else it sounds like the game has evolved into something better. Man, seriously from reading these posts it sounds like you all fought hard and its great to see that the old can survive in the new! I think i joined at the beginning of the 4th age. hmm... 'age of evolution' i'd call it. with the updates and changes of SGW politics. What do you think?

Will be an interesting time indeed, as has the past. Especially with the departure of so many good and memorable players recently you may find that "noobs" such as yourself lordmike11bravo may rise to some noteriety in a short time as vacuums are left by those who have departed. That may be the feature of the 4th age

very good point avitir. stargatewars has had a very interesting history, hopefully it will only become more interesting in the future

i just got to agree there, stargate wars had an awesome history, and a maybe even better future. (lets hope for that)

i always was interested about the OoC war, since my first commander was in that alliance. (he left for a while, then came back and rejoined it)

so i was in the OoC with him, it wasnt very active and i heard that it was there for a long time. and after a great war the alliance was nearly disbanded, still i never heard against who they fought and stuff.

anyway, when i joined the OoC it was inactive, a war broke out against WoB and i got an offer to join them. (an inactive alliance or a active alliance, it was an offer i couldnt refuse)
so i am a proud warlord now.

still, its really interesting about the hero's back then, also the way things went then. like all goa'uld and replicators against the tauri and asgard alliances.. that must have been cool.

lets see what the 4th age will bring, the birth of a bigger and stronger alliance then CoP? or that there may be birth of players who will make history themselves..

i am playing this game for almost a year now i guess, still a noob
but atleast i am sticking around to witniss everything!
