another good way to avoid crackers/hackers is no have an email address that you only use for this game.
I have a different email addy for each game and none of them have ever been used for any other purpose which includes forum registrations.

Just so everyone knows most countries has similar laws to this Ireland law (Criminal Damage Act 1991)
The ‘basic hacking offence' within Section 5 prohibits the accessing of another person's data, via a computer, without that said person's consent. Section 2 of the Act supplements Section 5, by creating further offences such as the damaging of data by way of a computer. Both offences must occur “without lawful excuse.”
so technically anyone deliberately accessing anyone's account without a lawful excuse (usually meaning permission) can be charged with hacking and should be reported to the appropriate body (not admin)
