Everyone needs a break at some point. Like Goodie said, he's using chaos to test new security features, which most likely will be implemented on main if they go well.

I'm sure there's alot of behind the scenes stuff that admin is doing for us, but it always goes unappreciated or unrecognized because we never know about it.

Nothing is perfect in life. This game is free. Have fun playing it, but do know that you'll have to go over a bump every now and then. The number of hacked accounts isn't anything to be alarmed over. I don't think that there is a security 'loophole' that is allowing these hackers easy access to accounts. I bet you that it's someone just brute forcing usernames and passwords for a given email address. Use a completely different username, email and password for this game and I'll bet you a nickel you won't get hacked.

Settle down.

if you take all hacked accounts into consideration then it becomes a mixture of stupidity, brute force (as you put it), and security lapses.

but jtest getting hacked is beyond belief...even more so when you take bryans account getting hacked 3 times into consideration.

Possibility to "IP lock" could improve security for sure. Not as "strictly demanded feature" but as available feature. If you want to use IP lock - you check checkbox inside your account profile.
That can help those who need have their account protected - but at costs of losing account mobility and also will not restrict those who preffers account mobility instead of security or cannot use only 1 IP.
Also possibility of more IP linked to account can be made.

Admin is not God - and as human he can make some mistakes. Also he cannot be the most clever one in all aspects of life, programming, balance, security ...

I Agree security seems to be really big problem here.
We only can show admin possibilities to deal with security issues - and he can overlook this possibilities and decide if he wants to implement some of them into source code.

Just thought I'd point something out to everyone:

hmmm....any of the above could give admin more problems than its worth to enforce that part of the terms of use, meaning, if admin ignores the community or starts to ban/delete accounts....well lets just say that would be bad for business

This sounds/reads like a lot of fear mongering.

Forum/Jason has set up weekly chat schedules, people can discuss enhancements and if people don't like then they get changed or updated, etc., etc. How is there anything like ignoring the community?

How about just saying:
Try out the feedback system, as it's changed now. If you don't like it or have a suggestion bring it up during the chat session?

STHU and go away little man!

i have just logged on to this forum after an absence of a few days and just read that Jason will be available to chat with twice a week.....i, and indeed everyone else cannot ask for more from Admin!
and to be honest, thats more than i expected...good job Admin!!!

i also just read the new updates that will soon be implemented....

i have to say, they do look promising to say the least :-)

anyways...

Admins post about him being on chat twice a week kinda makes this thread redundant, can a mod please lock this?

thanks
