Opera puts all the search for user name, ID and page all on top of the page so that it looks ugly, but other than that it's fine..

However, when I tried a link to a farm i got this: browser error...cannot determine referring page.
To Login to the game, use the main page form.

His link is: http://www.stargatewars.com/stats.php?id=46220

I am logged in and everything else is working, except the link to that player. Wondering why that is happening..

ID is still 6153

NOTE: If you are initiating a trade, and trading your goods for Naquadah and THE TRADE IS ACCEPTED, or initiating a trade for your Naquadah, and THE TRADE EXPIRES, the Naquadah will be put into your bank - IF YOU HAVE ROOM!

i had a broker set up by me, in wich i would receive naq, and i have plenty of space in my bank, but now i wake up to see the broker was acepted, and the naq came out into the open, and was taken ofc :(

Having a space character in a planet name is now considered to be a special character??

When trying to rename a planet, ok gotta wait 24hours but ontop of that it said no funk just text. I was trying to name it 'Red Dwarf' wheres the funky characters in that? Unless its the space or the capitals?

erm, is it just me, or is the game offline???
browser error...cannot determine referring page.
To Login to the game, use the main page form.
Please ensure your browser supports passing referring information (referrer logging). This information is used SOLELY to ensure your visit is your own, and from our site. The referrer logging is enabled by default in all browsers, and very standard on the internet.
Also note that typing in urls, or using links that are not matched to your current login, will not work.
This is to protect you and your account from fraudulent activities and/or hacks.
Your broswer information is below for your reference, as is a list of methods to allow referrer logging. exiting....

actual refering information: .
broswer: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; OptusNetDSL6).
your IP:220.236.219.96.

INTERNET EXPLORER 6
This can be done from the computer's Control Panel > Internet Options, or from within the browser Tools > Internet Options.

Click Security.
Click Trusted Sites then Sites.
Add *.stargatewars.com website address in the box provided and click Add.
Uncheck the box that requires https verification.
Click the Privacy tab (Medium is an acceptable setting on the slider, but click Sites and again enter your website address)
Now click Allow.
Click Apply.
This has only altered settings for your website and this does not otherwise affect your browsing.

FIREFOX, NETSCAPE

Type about:config in the URL address bar.
A large collection of alphabetically listed information will appear in the browser window.
Search for network.http.sendRefererHeader.
By default, this should be set at 2.
If it is set to 0 - which disables sending referrers - right click it, select Modify and enter 2 as the value.
If that doesn't work, try a value of 1
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.http. ... ererHeader for more information.

OPERA

If you have disabled it, go to Tools > Preferences > Privacy and re-enable it.
Latest Version is Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Network and ensure 'enable referrer logging' is enabled.
You can also go Tools > Quick Preferences and ensure 'enable referrer logging' and 'enable javascript' are both enabled.
Although it should not make a difference, you can also ensure that you are not loading cached pages. This can be done by setting Tools > Preferences > Advanced > History and changing the dropdown under 'check if page is updated on server' - 'check documents' - to 'always'.

see http://www.opera.com/support/search/sup ... ?index=454 for more details.

If you have software on your computer that is filtering the HTTP 'referer' header, you will experience problems viewing the site.

Many consumer software firewalls, such as Norton Personal Firewall (which is also part of Norton Internet Security), ZoneAlarm, and McAfee, remove the referrer from HTTP requests which will prevent you from viewing images or downloading files on any site that does a referrer check. Therefore, such options should always be turned off.

For Symantec and Norton Firewalls: Go to the Privacy Settings and disable 'Privacy Control'. (Please note that 'Privacy Control' does not protect your privacy in any way, as your IP address will always be logged regardless of that setting).
For ZoneAlarm: Go to Privacy -> Cookie Control -> Custom and uncheck 'remove private header information'.
For McAfee Firewall: Go to Privacy Service -> Protect my Identity -> Erase Revealing Information and uncheck 'Prevent Referer Information to be Shared'.

Software like AdSubstract also blocks the referrer and makes image viewing impossible.

i tried doing what it said, and tried both IE and FF, but it just wont load...

I just had the same issue with a trade broker. I set the broker and had plenty of room in my bank but it went in the open. I did get my naq and as soon as I deposited it the bank took it. But the broker did just leave it in the open.

The security update is highly annoying. It would be fine if the Stat pages didnt need the referal thing. if i have links on my tool bar to go to certain peoples pages, they do not work :-(

With my alliance stuff i have a page with everyones link i could just click to see how they are doing.... its now useless!
