I'm stuck on the Firehorse boss in the waterway...i almost kill it, and then my party dies...damn fire magic.
to kill that one you have to keep your distace, get good weapons ( go to the fortress & buy the weapons there) & also, heal your party when your HP is low...say like 200 out of 300......also...keep your distance especially when the firemane uses the attack brushfire ( not sure about attack's name....forgot).
hope it helps
P.S: as for my view on FFXII....two words:
IT ROCKS!

Cheers mate. but my save points are on the waterway...so i'm screwed there..especially with Amilia always running in and getting killed.
I'll do my best to kill it
And i do use gambits...2 have potions set up and one has revive set up.

If you still have problems, then my advice is to start training and get quickenings. One more thing on the gambits, you do remember to set it up so that cure is near the top right? Cuz gambits go from top to bottom if you didn't know that.
On the other hand you may just want to always attack and let "Amalia" do most of the healing, expect for those times when you want to heal manually.
Small Spolier, highlight
Amalia is really Ashe if you didn't figure that out

I've got ff12. i got to say i dont like the battle system they should have stuck with the traditional stand-in-line turn based fighting. (thats just my opinion)
I am a huge fan of ff7 and from what i hear they are remaking it for ps3. It is by far the most popular out of the final fantasy's in my opinion.

Re: FINAL FANTASY VII
FF7 and FF8 were two of my favorites FF2 and FF3 (American) were probably the best ones out of all of them Just because Cecil was awesome and Kefka come on he is like that one kid who has all the take over the world plots in HS and but he actually does it lol. FF7 was probably the best storyline out of all the games I have ever played including Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross even though they were tied together fairly well. FF7 the only boss that actually gave me trouble was Emerald weapon took me forever to figure out how to beat it stupid level 5 KoTR and mimic on the other two with auto-haste on everyone and it still took forever lol. In FF8 Omega weapon was so much easier but so much more fun to fight critical on everyone and 100 Heroes used on everyone lmao took me a few minutes with Lion Heart. Aerith dying was a bit dissappointing the first time I played because I normally focus on strengthening my characters as soon as I get them so she was around level 50 when she died talk about a waste of time. In FF8 I was a big fan of the card game lol I was actually quite good at it lol. FF12 is alright I actually just started playing it bought it a while ago but school limited my time. I am not a big fan of the fighting system I think they ruined one of the best and most defining aspects of the final fantasy name but I like they way it is playing out the graphics never really interested me like some people I play for the story line within the game.
