CoP: What should be changed?

Okay i gotta Clear some things up. The Whole DDE strike thing was chosen by me. o yes by me. and it was random all page 2 alliances

But then again i mass page 2 alliances because i was bored.

So you attacked page 2 alliances because you couldnt hit anyone of decent size as they were either your allies in CoP. Or they were reasonably sized to give you a decent fight.

That my friend is wrong and is in a nutshell why people don't like CoP. You can't possibly expect that after you mass them for no reason they are going to like you. Honestly mate.

Other than that i gave quite a speal about what i though. its a debate get over it.

I was addressing the question posed by Taxo as to why people had a problem with CoP. I answered it and provided my opinion on how it could be fixed, rather then go off about GA and CFE which have got nothing to do with this thread.

And I wasn't having a dig at your ability to post a reply, which is your right. I was having a dig at your position that you think that the current situation of big people attacking little people is fun. I don't know about you but I don't like it when the difficulty is set to easy. If I was in CoP, I would find it fun for awhile, but then I would get really really bored, as some of you guys have.

Find someone of equal army size to you, and if they mutually agree, have a 1v1 war. You will be less bored and will actually have fun.

I think what mango said is somewhat true. but since most of you feel that way STHU and sell your account and leave the game because your just complaining about pointless things.

So because we disagree with you we have to delete our accounts and leave because it is different from your position?

Dude, this is a thread started by a CoP member asking for people's opinions on why people have a problem with CoP. People have responded. Its stupid to then come in and tell people to STHU when they do as Taxo asked and post their opinions.

I keep seeing people talk about how evil and mean CoP is. However, I've yet to see one recommendation on exactly what cop to could better with the exception of massing everyone. So I'd like for people to sound off on what they would change about cop.

This is for a civilized discussion. I don't want to see spamming or flaming just because someone points out a flaw in reasoning.

*disclaimer* this thread by no means indicates that we are even considering changing our current policies. This is for my own personal attempt at trying to understand the sgw community.

Months ago Robe said that the COP shouldnt even be allied, as where is the fun in playing a game where the 3 top alliances are allied. I understand you want to be the best of the best, but I dont understand why the best of the best need to be allied with the second and third 'best' ?

I have a question. If Crystal Force was still around and went about this the same way Omega DD and DDE has. sooner or later Crystal Force Elite and Crystal Force Div1 Would of been the top two alliances. Should of they not been allied either????

The way one could poke flaws in any plan is due to no one is perfect. But also i wouldl ike you to understand taking on Page 2 alliances bye ones lonesome is no easy feat. Also theere hits back can cripple most accounts. Your could always try To Make Your accoutn unmassable. Which i do see as almost impossible but some people THink CL's and UP and High Income do that. but that isnt all...


I will cease posting hear due to bs i have to read and the lack of inteligences and insight i have seen in others replys. Good day and good luck.

So REK that makes it okay of them to have done that? When the page 2 alliance Knew if they retaliated that it ment to complete destruction of their alliance, officers and CO's. PLease quit trying to justify something that is just Wrong. Everyone likes war but that was just WRONG.

CF and CFE were 2 alliances, not 3 with feeders on top of that. So I think you are abit wrong the way you were saying that CF would be the new COP.

COP are amazing alliances without a dobt, but why do the top 3 alliances in the game need to be allied ? They also have there good feeder alliances in the deal on top [ I agree feeder alliances should be included in ANY treaty, and certainly do in the COP one ] But it is just abit of a joke the top 3 alliances even need each other.

The game would be alot more intresting if the top 3 picked lower ranked alliances and made there own pacts, and then we would have 3 or 4 sort of 'factions' in the game, instead of SGW VS COP.

And by the way 'Acolyte of Eternity' there is no need to unsult people like you just did.

Incorrect...if they requested a war only with the 4 that hit them, we would have been happy to oblige... of course, this would mean that because I hit with 3 strike teams, 3 alliances would have declared war on me individually... and if they would have done that, both sides would have been fun, but no...

Sorry, you are wrong had they requested the war with the four that hit them, and they started to get the upper hand on the four, the rest of DDE would have jumped in and helped.

Not to mention the resource support they would have received.

This in my opinion is the biggest problem... too many ppl have friends or whatever so don't want to break up alliances etc... and people take it way too seriously if they are attacked by friends, consider it virtually betrayal. this will never happen, but I think it would be interesting if all the top alliances broke up... and reformed just... differently, like not 40 strong players again... say 5 core players from omega for example and then a scattering of other players, except the problem with this is the power that a person with 50 mil army size has over someone with 2 mil is insane... and the majority of people don't have 2 mil army sizes, it takes too long to catch up, thus new alliances with different scatterings of players can't form... a person with 250k army size is of no practical use to someone with 50 mil army size. and the time it takes to get from 250k army size to 2 mil army size is... well it depends on the player, lets say they are only using the turns they are getting from time... I dunno mabye a month to get there, and their still useless to a 50 mil player.. to ccatch up requires months if not years which is just ridiculous, it stagnates the game so you have the same players strong players allied, not enough newer stronger players out there. *ends rant*

Well it's like this:

CoP can farm you, you can't do anything against them. CoP can mass you for boredom, if you mass back you get entire CoP behind ur and ur alliance and friends necks. CoP can take ur planet and if u take it back, bye bye u and ur alliance. CoP can say anything to u and if u say anything like that to them back, you're dead.
If you attack CoP, u get massed.
If you mass CoP back, u will be sat on forever.
If you take CoP's planet, massed & sat on forever
