very dumb idea................
if jason decided he wanted to stop dealing with this game
then he would implement this idea ...........so everyone would quit and or leave the game eventually
if a person has spend 2 years building up the account
no matter what restrictions u put on this killing lifers/miners thing
there would be away to abuse it
it is a horrible idea
it is as bad as the idea of USA invading IRAN tommorow , be a big giant bloody mess, doesnt matter if its right or not, it be a mess, and a horrible idea

Seriously, if these so called TOP players were to quit because someone can actually hurt them, they don't deserve their top position in the first place. They should go play sesame street wars. People should never have taken this game so seriously in the first place. We wouldn't have people paying hundreds of dollars to buy their way to the top and ending up scared they might lose their investment. Cause if miners/lifers/uu become killable, suddenly they're not worth quite as much anymore.
If people want to spend $ on the game thats their decision its not against the rules.
Why do you have a problem with people having strong accounts?
Ive worked hard to get where i am, ive spent nothing on this game and worked for almost 2 years
I dont take this game 'seriously' its a game, i enjoy playing it and being good at it.
I dont actually have many lifers, as i had a small-ish army when i ascended and never untrain miners to train as covert to then later train back into miners, anything i untrain is kept untrained.
But saying that, my lifers are still more than 10% of my army, and i dont want to loose that for no reason. (Its around 200% of your total army btw)
Many guys with larger army army sizes have huge amounts of lifers, even over 70% of their army.
Quit having a go at the bigger guys, we have worked for this status and you just wish you had the same.

What if killing miners/lifers was implemented in a similar way as Etl is proposing the laws of war.. if a person has had war declared on him, and his defence has been less than that critical amount for 5 days, his miners/lifers can be attacked, the amounts he set were reasonable, if you can't defend yourself after 5 days you deserve to lose some uu... an amount say 1% and you can't be hit for 6 hours? the only people this 1% would really effect is those with 5 mil plus army size... and only those who can't defend themselves, players have the chance to defend themselves, if they can't then they choose to lose miners/lifers instead?

t should just be set in place, that if there is no defense you gain a new attack option, pillage or something who knows, that is a direct attack on a completely unprotected populace, aka kills miners and lifers at a 50/50 rate.
as things stand there is no reason to have a defense in war, which means war is nothing more than a 1 time wave of account massings by the preemptive striker followed by farming until everyone gets tired of it, if this was implemented people would think a lot more before declaring war on someone.
And also im tired of hearing people say " How are the smaller players supposed ot fight back?!?!?! oh noes!"
why does it make sense that those who are much weaker than you should be able to fight back? they should learn not ot pick fights with strong enemys rather than hide behind 0 stats like cowards.

This would generally advantage the smaller players... If they can get the persons stats to 0 of course, if its a set % rather than a set limit... But I agree... the wars get annoying when theres no point in defending... or building one etc

ever heard of arrogant people that wanted to sit on people until deletion just for some random incident?
this will let them really do it
a much better idea is that you can kill lifers ONLY and use your up to turn them into miners instead of getting uu's

I disagree.. if an arrogant person is sitting on someone that person can generally complain to the forums... the person will generally stop after that, or get help, if the reason however is legitimate why can't people sit on an account?... People are generally reasonable.. if they arent others will help... imo lol

Say the base rate is 1% for killing lifers... what if after all the lifers are dead the miners can then be killed at a rate of say .5% or .25%, (all example percentages), making it possible, but much harder to kill them?

Yes. I keep hearing stuff about people sitting on other people. But if this is implemented, you can sit on the sitters (instead of watching the watchers), until they give up. Stop looking at it as if this suggestion is targeted only at yourself. It will affect everyone. The people that should be most worried is those that have pissed off a lot of people in the past, thinking they were invincible anyway.

yea cuz really, you can call it war all you want, whats going on now, and in the beggining it was, but its only farming now .... nothing more theres no reason to do anything but sell your def untrain ur spys and sit on ppt/farm/get farmed

How about this:
The Nox revive dead lifers. So lifers will not die as long as you are under the Nox' protection (doesn't have to be phased). If you commit an act of war, war will automatically be declared, which nullifies the Nox' protection.
The result: you can protect your lifers at a reasonable cost. If someone masses you, you will not automatically lose lifers. If you retaliate promptly, you get to destroy their lifers. Doing this however, will also leave yours vulnerable.
-Lifers can be hurt
-No sitting and eliminating all lifers (just don't react and you're safe, or if they insist, return the favor)
-Massing gets riskier
-The meaning of war will be clearer (you better mean it if you declare war)
Downside: keeping a farm list will be dangerous

Very good idea

, this keeps everyone happy... those who want to keep their lifers can play defensive, those who want to retaliate can risk it
