with the size of our community there will be other lost too so talk about what you remember of him and smile.
I think he has the right idea, any other idea would create too much controversy over whether or not it's respectful or disrespectful, harming his memory. I believe it would be for the best if we had nothing too major to commemorate him. Maybe naming something after him, but pausing the game for a hour would not be that great of an idea...

I have a radical idea. Bear in mind that I am a neutral party, with no agenda here.
Why not call off the War? Declare the Luc Armistice. Do something vast in his honour (within the SGW Universe anyway) that people will be talking about for a long time.

It's a nice sentiment but it's not going to happen. I am sorry for this tragety but to use it in such a way seems cheap.

Well I think that such an action would turn out to be just like the Treaty of Versailles. While it is an excellent idea, much like the League of Nations, and the Treaty of Versailles, it wouldn't last.

Either of these two ideas sit very well with me. Granted the God of Light doesn't fit the situation, so I'd recommend against it. Stopping the game for a moment of silence will only serve to stop the flow of things. I also think that a collection of words for him should be included. When someone ascends to LG+2, they are greeted by the message. Or when they first reach the top 10 in ascended, depending upon which idea is accepted.

We didnt start this war, so don't have a goal
We will not surrender...... It will never end, unless CIA decided to stop fighting.

players play this game for many reasons but really everyone wants to be no1
How about if his stats are inflated to put his account as rank 1 and then put onto ppt for 1 week or 1 month so he will be the highest rank player for a set period and noone can attack/raid him during that time so he is untouchable.
Obviously you would have to ensure his account details are changed so noone uses this for their own benefits.
Once that period is ended his account is deleted or 'frozen' back to its original stats

Luc never was really interested in being actually rank 1, because else he would have been. Luc had the ability to travel between rankings on 1 day...
he had chosen to stay outside of top 1000 except when going for his ascensions, to raid...

i say simply "freeze" his stats, account and rank...
write his name luc-god of darkness with some special characters...and name his (fake)planets with something like..."a great sgw player who will be remembered"...
...this way all those who get in "contact" with his account know who he was
