I like this idea and how someone mentioned using attack turns, maybe the more you use the more likely your gonna find something.

Or when you find something the better it is.

personally I don't think the effects of clicking the button should be too drastic...i think you should only gain/lose a little...as someone pointed out earlier it would be all about luck

If you also added in the amount of people you are sending then surely the better your chances of winning a possible fight! also the less you send the less you could possibly lose if you get a kicking!
Naq and turns to be spent doing it is wise, even though it would have a chance element to it you would have to think more tactically about how many men to send for how long and how much to spend on it.
Maybe the more men you send automatically puts the cost up and you can add resources on top of that if you feel generous.

Oh, just a little side note, luck would be avery good thing added to this game to give aide to all those far below the top players, even though it oculd be bad, it would be overall a good thing. Not to mention to balance out a possibilitie for those who dont get the bonuses from ss tradign and such.

Indeed... Most of the advanced stuff has already been implemented to Ascension.... People complain about how needlessly advanced it is...and you want to bring in MORE advanced stuff?

Those people who have SS have that advantage because they spent money to get SS. They deserve that advantage over non-supporters, who have not paid a cent (apart from the PPT-only players)!

I am not a supporter but I also don't care I have no interest in trading I will get what I get through attacking, building and basically doing things the hard way! Don't pay don't get the advantage that sounds fair to me! I could support but currently don't Tough S**T for me then isn't it.

It doesn't really need to be very advanced though. Just a little renewable gimmick to keep players amused once a day.

I do like the idea of using attack turns to influence the scale of the outcome though. Enter between 1 and 15 attack turns, click the "Search For New World" button and you get a simple result.

Note. "X" = Number of Turns used.

- You find 10 x X Untrained Troops.
- You lose 10 x X Untrained Troops.
- You find 10 x X Attack Troops.
- You lose 10 x X Attack Troops.
- You find 10 x X Defence Troops.
- You lose 10 x X Defence Troops.
- You find 10 x X Covert Troops.
- You lose 10 x X Covert Troops.
- You find 10 x X Untrained Mercs.
- You lose 10 x X Untrained Mercs.
- You find 10 x X Attack Mercs.
- You lose 10 x X Attack Mercs.
- You find 10 x X Defence Mercs.
- You lose 10 x X Defence Mercs.
- You find 100 x X Naquadah.
- You lose 100 x X Naquadah.
- You find 1000 x X Naquadah.
- You lose 1000 x X Naquadah.
- Your Unit Production is increased by 3 x X.
- Your Unit Production is decreased by 3 x X.

There is a 5% chance for each of these, and they each balance out with am equal potential loss, and noen of them are particularly powerful.

You should get bonuses on it your first week (like only the good stuff) to help the n00bs get going.

Yes, i like that lat formula mentioned....but i dont think it should be attack turns...i think it should be units of some sort...because really...who wants to spend 15 turns on a max return of 15000 Naq?

It doesn't seem like a great return. But then you don't really want to spend 15 turns to lose that much either.
Although it can happen when you attack someone and don't win!
If units, Naq and turns could be spent to start with you could gain greater rewards for your effots, the more you spend should increase the possible yield but 15000 isnt worth it.

As I mentioned before, using percentages ensures it is kept interesting for all. For instance, using 15 turns could return a 25% income bonus for the next 15 turns.

Im with sleipnir on this one, make the bonuses temporary and % based so as for all people to benefit equally.
