I would like to believe that something to help the community could be devoid of violence...even if it exists as 1's and 0's.

When there were no mods in the first chat room that is how order was kept, behave or have your weapons go bye bye.

And start it off with a complete reset of the forums with a strict set of rules that are enforced EVERYTIME without fail.

You can't save this forum. It has been circling the drain for several months now. Lots of good people have left and more mention they are leaving.

Come Forth isn't EtL; I know him from another server. Besides, Come Forth doesn't believe in God. EtL believes that he is God.

now i agree that the spam was funny. but i ask you to stop spamming this topic and to found a new one for it . i like this topic.


well i belive that you can archieve mosts in the forum if you regularly check what you post and how you react on things.

people that know me a long time should have seen quite a development.
and as basic rule threat people the way you want to be threated.

and if really noobs or other players are harrased unfairly there are still enough people arround that would help out at once.

i am really happy about the way tokra changed his forum usage.
its still work to be done but rome wasnot build on one day.
if other players and mods would do the same. Looking and what they do and how they react. what is already automatic ( like me deleting tokras post for some time)....
and what they can and what they want and maybe what they should change.

Just cause it DOES have to do with the topic, Flavar your modspeak above is an example of whats needed, not the 'thread spammed, lock and or move to thisthat/temple' aditude that some mods have.

Threads should be left open and unmoved period unless totaly spammed (and even then, requests to stop then warnings given instead of just moving it) and the FOURM USERS THEMSELVES allowed to decide if it stays on top by POSTING IN IT if it intersts them.

Thats how I see it at least, for this small part of the puzzle.

I think things has gotten better since August/September.

People that have left don't make the forum what it is. It's up to the people here, and wishing for old days to come back does nothing without action to make it better.

Responsibility does not fall on any one person or group. If we as a community wish to change something it is up to everyone.

I still say if punishments were given out ever time without fail no matter the person or situation then you wouldn't find so many people who push the limits at ever chance they find.

While I agree with your comment Tok`ra I also think that topics wouldn't get moved if they were in the right place to start with. If people would work WITH the mods and not against them, and mods would work WITH the people then everything would go much smoother.

Boy do I hate to say this but the forums are just like main. Its CoP against CIA in main and MODS against POSTERS in forums.


Guess what folks its not like this at all. We are all individuals and lumping us all together is wrong. If everyone would take off those YOU VS ME glasses they been looking through they would see that.

Spacey one of the people who left is a very good RL friend of mine. This person left "in despair" came back did something to help the comunity big time. Then they left again after trying hard. Even tried to end the war at 1 point. They told me "you can't help people who don't want to be helped" and it is obvious that though there are threads like these that most people (even those posting in this thread) will still go ahead and treat others with contempt and arrogance in other threads.

Id like to announce Im ending my contribution to this thread.

Ive lost hope in the fourms pullin thru, so Ill sit back, pull up a chair, and watch the trainwreck.

It seems as though we are saying the same thing. Everyone has a responsibility in their community.

Perhaps those bored players would realize that posting on the forums, or playing the game at all for that matter, is a privilege, not a right.

one key thing to remember is that a mod is also a forum user and a player.

Just because we have an opinion does not mean we aren't doing out jobs, or because some may participate in a war.

Take out the people who break the rules over and over again.
