I have already outlined a plan to incorporate ascension planets to make planets for your main account. Jason is looking into the idea. It would also allow you to go over the 10 planet (I maxxed it out at 15). It rewards those of us who decided ascension was more than just a "get bonuses in main" kind of thing but it is also available to anyone who has ascended. It also slows down the growth of some of the bigger players in ascension (as you need to use planets to "build" your main planets). Anyway, thought I would mention that here.

Good idea...make it exponential:
11 planets 50k G&R
12 planets 100k G&R
13 planets 200k G&R
14 planets 400k G&R
15 planets 800k G&R
...stops at 15

I'd think you'd have to make the degree of price-rise higher though.

1)first idea
having 11th planet would cost you 5% of your att/def/cov/up...
having 12th planet would cost you 10% of your att/def/cov/up...
up to 15th

2)second idea(the stupidest idea you will ever hear)
in order to have 11th planet, you have to buy it with all 10 planets you have...(this would mean loosing all planets you have, to enable having 11th); and for the 12th planet, there should be same rule plus every planet should be yours for at least one month and there should be at least 10bill invested in your planet ...same goes for 13th planet, but you should have all of the planets for 2months, and there should be 20bill invested in each. (so with this option, everybody who has now 10 planets, would be able to have 11th, but for the 12th, you should first get 11 planets(which means at least 11days if you steal them), and then invest 110bill in them; and after getting all 11 you'd have to wait for 1months)
