Dubious use of ascended superweapon

We mentioned this awhile ago to Forum Pef. Heck, he knew how it was going to be used before he even introduced it. The is actually why he made 50% of it get spread across accounts, to decrease its job as just transferring resources. Before he did this I didn't really care for the weapon. Now I think it is fine. The hundreds of millions(and in this case, billions) that are distributed can really help small players if they are active when it is sold. Given, it still helps the person receiving the other 50% much more, but meh, whatever

so that's where I had that DMU...
I was farmed before I had the chance to use it though.

Does anyone know if the current holder will sell the weapon at an arranged time? As a very small ascended player, the naq from it being sold will really help me out. I hear that Dirty Dozen usually has control of the superweapon, do they post it on their forums?

Many things are posted on our forums, anyhow your given notice about when the superweapon auction is going to end what more do you need. The weapon cant be sold at an exact time, it has to go on auction.

2. Click on "Cosmic Trade"
3. If In "Bid on the Ascended SuperWeapon." is "Auction Expires in xx.xx Hours" set the damn clock to it, wake up and farm if U can :]

I`m trying farm on EVERY auction ends, I get at last few full good strikes.
Sometimes I get hit when I`m farming ... but my def is growing

In my case when I put all farmed DMU in ALF some auctions gives me next ascesion Good thing

Maybe someday I can Buy a SW and smash s1 head off :F

The super weapon worked fine. So what if the DMU gets distributed, thats to mak sure that you can't use it to trade resources without a loss of 50%. the dmu goes out to all active players and anyone with even a small attack can farm those who get the dmu. after i ascended the first time i was farming after the sw the second time it sold, just have to make sure to bank first and bank often. the idea that one group of people take all the dmu is stupid, although seems moot since sw gone with this new update.

i usually banked my DMU as LF to build my powerups and as for fuel to power my attacks on other ascended beings.

The super weapon was being used EXACTLY how I told Jason it would be used even before he added it to the game. I explained to him how it was a broken construct designed to "screw the big guys" by allowing smaller players to hit them with an undefendable attack. Now the reason I did this was because I was playtesting ascended server beta for Jason and I thought it my duty to point out all possible abuses of the SW. When I told him what we were going to do with the SW when he introduced it, he said "Great! Go for it!" So we did. He then had the gall to act shocked and surprised when we did it and even went so far as to accuse us of cheating when he gave us his blessing in the first place. So then he took 50% of the proceeds and spread them out amongst the active players in the server (why I don't know). It made absolutely no sense, there is absolutely no game logic for it, and it was a blatantly unfair concept to the people buying and selling the SW. No one was getting hurt with what we were doing EXCEPT our own members. Keep in mind that people complained because we were HITTING OUR OWN MEMBERS WITH THE SUPERWEAPON!!!!!!! How BS is that?????!!!!!! And then we get punished for it to boot?

Then Jason has the gall to practically accuse me of cheating again after I told him about the LF conversion rate thingy when I discovered that it had changed back like he said he was going to do. So this is why I am leaving the game. The present update has very little to do with my decision to leave. It is the constant persecution that I receive from Jason that has made my time on SGW untenable any longer.

In my opinion, prior to these recent updates, the superweapon did more to help activity on the server than any other update in the past year in ascension, including the introduction/implementation of descension. Given, that wasn't the purpose it was created for, but it was a good side effect.

PLZ, im not ascended and i know as much as anyone else why you kept hitting each other with that SW....better yet you are hiding something that your not telling us which was the benefits form the SW.....clearly the benefits vastly outweighed the damages done and monopolized on it.

deju vu all over again seems just like the update with planets when they first began in main until some1 gather 4 strike planets with 20 billion strike and starting smacking a certain alliance as soon as that happened BAM 50% thing gets implemented, im sure admin knew of it hell man i even said ppl will start replacing there strike with planets

but whatever


maybe its best for the SW to just fade away like a bad memory and never ever to be remembered
