I thought of another idea...what if there were a minumum number of troops you HAD to take with you...both training and untrained. This could also be increased with each ascension as with the other stats.

...that already exists. And according to forum, it does increase with each ascension.

After the majority of us ascended, minimum requirements were put in place, based on one's UP. The higher the UP, the more UU, trained, naq, ect you needed to ascend. For those that havent ascended, they need 1k UP to ascend, as their minimum requirement. Forum just stated our minimum UP would be higher than theirs, and will increase with each ascension. So when that minimum UP increases, then the rest of the minimums (UU and trained included) will increase as well

What if it's a combination of both. Each reascension is more costly and there is a minimum time that must elapse before one can reascend.

Either you misunderstand or I misunderstand. What I am suggesting is a requirement that you take them with you or you dont ascend. I dont recall needing to take any untrained with me...All I took with me were my spies and mercs...but I did have brain surgery this year so I could be way off...lol

After the first few people ascended (ie; you) Forum made it so there are minimums based on UP. You HAVE to take a certain amount of untrained an trained troops, as well as naq. I think I had to take 85K untrained with me otherwise I couldn't ascend. Forum has put the requirement of 1K UP....so you HAVE to ascend with at least 25K untrained and 10K trained (roughly)....if he increases the UP requirement after every subsequent ascension then you'll have to take more and more up with you.

A little off topic, but do supersoldiers count towards the trained men requirements? Or is just regular trained soldiers that count towards it?

and what about spies, i read somewhere, that with the new requirements, spies counted has trained, is this true??

Ahhhhh that explains it...thanks for the clarification.

all trained units count as trained for the minimums... soldiers, supers and spies

honestly tho, how many of you think that 25k untrained and 10k trained is going to solve this problem?

It increases every time you ascend.
For those of use already here, it is likely going to be more than 25k and 10k... i am betting closer to 40k-50k and 15k-20k, respectively...
We will have to wait and see the requirement for the first reascension...

have people convinced me it should be a bit harder each time to reascend? yes.

what is the method:
same Glory and Rep needed;
higher UP needed.
increased UT/trained/Naq ratio with each reascension....

sounds like a good and fair plan to me

lol 8 out of top 30 in regular are now ascended haha

i think that is good that forum has made it hard to reascend but now i thin we have to look at what u get for ascension if u ascend again u get a 10% bonus on everything this makes it easier to cope with the small loss of men and naq that u have to inorder to reascend. i only see this getting worse with more and more reascension what people will do is stay at the minium up and just allow the bonuses to work for them i think that after the thrid ascension u shouldn't get anymore add on bonuses in main i mean an extra 15% on income, attack, defence and covert should be more than enough of a bonus. I just feel that in a couple of months everyone who was inthe top 100 or so will be back there and always be there with all those bonuses, and there will be far less new people ascending.
