Sylar is a mentally ill momma's boy. Granted he is a really scary mentally ill mommas boy... but thats still what he is.

I hope the next villain on the show is as interesting as he is.

and c'mon, watch how Peter has grown. He's jaded now, unfazed by the world, where before he was full of hopes and dreams. It's every hero's journey. Hiro is the same. They will succeed, Sylar will die, and all will go back to being okay.

And yes, Heroes has been picked up for a 30 episode run for Season 2. NBC knows a hit when it sees one...unlike FOX...poor Nathan Fillion.

Peter will prevail, though I have a feeling Nathan will have something to do with it.

By the way, has it been shown that Sylar can fly yet? I know he can at least hover. It would be really cool for the two to fight it out while flying above New York.

Bad thing for Hiro -- Sylar apparently can break through the time frozen thing.

I must say that Sylar is the SINGLE best character on Heroes and Peter cannot beat him however we all know that the good guys eventually win

It might not be peter who defeats sylar, though I largely suspect it will be a group effort

I actually hope that Sylar gets away... although in a non-confirmed sort of way... where he will be damaged but not killed.

Yeah, he's too good of a character to just be killed. Maybe he will be able to do some weird thing with his power that can get him out of the situation, but send him to some far off weird place...I don't know just guessing. We'll find out next week.

Ala Sylar flying, I think he can at least hover as when he kills the person with super-hearing, she says she didn't hear any foot steps and he says thats because there were none. Now whether there's a difference between that and flying all out, I don't know.

I'll support a Church of Peter; he may be a little weak in parts now, but in the future ep he was awesome. Plus he saved the cheerleader and that's got to be worth something.

If Peter absorbs powers that others have, shouldn't he have all the powers that sylar has? I mean... he was next to sylar. It's a pitty that Peter didn't met linderman to absorb his power.

He has telekineses, if he can lift a truck i think he can lift himself.

And the moment peter gets near sylar, he has all of sylars powers, and then some, how can sylar beat someone who can do everything he can and then some?

Peter hasn't beaten him before, but thats going to change.

I think the phrase I am looking for is....."clamped"

above and beyond that, as JS said, how can Peter use powers he doesn't know he has? Sylar has so many now, Peter can only know the ones he's seen him use.



I'm going to create a Church of Peter userbar that people can use in their sigs if they wish to support Peter. Perhaps I'll call it the Church of Heroes and add in all the heroes? suggestions? (aka: I'm thinking Peter, Hiro, Claire, Parkmen, the Haitian.... possibly Mohinder? Lemme know, people...)

Darn, I wish I had kept up with heroes. I stopped watching after this pycho chick whos reflection was making her do things or something started killing a bunch of people without knowing it.
