You'd need an AI to govern that, and *not* players... players are... evil. :P

You shouldnt stop people from haveing the ability to grow, you should merely stop them from haveing the ability to sell things, if you become so strong noone can ever stop you, but youve done it off your own back, then id be happy to live with that.

Quite simple, if your not on the list, you don't get to sell stuff for $ on the forum.

The SGW players make the rules to determine who makes the list.

Like i said one list for regular sellers. (have a set criteria)

Then another for one off's. simple request to make this sale & a member of the panel, posts this sale so everyone knows it is sanctioned

If you then buy from someone outside of this you cann't say to anyone you did not know it was dodgy. no excuses

STI: I like the idea... now if you can get most of the $ buyers that should work.
But problem is they will buy the cheapest even if not on the list... Thats what I feel...

I agree with you and ETL in beleiving that the SGW traders guild needs to be opened up mate.

It just makes me mad to see people whinning about "the big guys" with a BM thread selling UU for $$.

Hey Lore,

From a little guy's standpoint i do find it rather difficult to catch up to you guys. I see some people claim to raid 100k uu in 30 minutes. I myself do not come close to those figures. I try to raid for atleast 900-1000:15 and i usually rty to get a bit more. For that, I am ok with being able to catch up. however, the rate at which i can get my hands on targets of that size is not often, and when I do I usually can only get about 4000-6000uu off them before the rates take a drop.

I'm at 8.2M and I've estimated 27000 turns for me to get to 10M. I initially wanted to do that in 6 days but I am over-estimating myself and am going to need to hold back and spread that over 2-3 weeks.

I hope my little jumble here makes a bit of sense in respect to your bottle-neck situation. Catching up IS quite hard (psst, what ranks are you hitting if you're pulling 2m uu in 5 hours?)

well i can use about 10k turns an hour before i run outa covert turns but since i have to buy the ats for naq i only get about a 30k profit so its only 300k or so if i had more covert turns i could do it way more

Yes it makes sense mate, like I said I'm all for helping someone who will help themselves its the ones constantly cring but never even try that get me.

As for the raiding, I haven't raided anything but mules in 6 months so I can't help you there.

When I do find myself raiding, which is rare lately, I tend to hit around 120-180 k per 10 minutes. Most raiders when they get used to it can hit around 700 k to 1 mil an hour. Go through at's like crazy ofcourse.

I think thats the meat and taters of it. We big guys no longer have a raid list so it matters little to us.

I just hate to see people who can still raid selling UU for $$ to stay low enough to raid. I don't care for them selling for $$ but it hurts us as it gives a false sense of army sizes.

I like the idea of a guild of traders or something like that.

I just dont see how this would be policed exactly.

yes the forums could be policed and any $$ sales not sanctioned could be removed.

but what if they use planet names or ingame names too sell there stuff ?
would the guild have a police who would attack them ?

as for who gets into the guild it should be as wolf and some others have said in the past.
attaining certain criteria should be part of it for example.

page 1 or 2 could be a criteria
army size of >=95mil (none merc) could be a criteria

just my 2 pence worth
(whats that equal too 1 uu ? :) )

that could be good but people dont always wana be on page 1-2 but it still has problem if those people took control of the market we could havevserrious problems especialy if they are that strong

they dont have too be on page one or two
they could have 95+mil armys instead or aswell :P

they also wouldnt be controling the market they would be members of the selling for $$ guild.

as forum once posted selling resourses for cash should be done when its excess resourses.

i wouldnt consider having a rank of 7k and army size of 10mil meaning you have excess resourses would you ?
