the only reason those alliance topics are stickied is that admin is working on alliance update, and didnt want to have to search all the time...

usually, no plain suggestions ideas would be stickied...

Is it true that ascended races in Main are just as boring?

I know it's worth it to ascend, (not being an Asgard, myself), but one of the reasons I keep putting it off is my understanding that ascended races in main are almost as boring as ascended races on the Ascended Server.

Okay, my point:
If what my ascended friends tell me is true, could we make the ascended on main a ton more interesting on Main...
like reducing the additional strength of weapons as per the given race to 25%, instead of the current 200% bump across the board, and double unascended race bonuses instead of eliminating them altogether...
and having paired down the huge weapons bonus, there would still be room for ascended blessing, without screwing the unascended. :)

if this doesn't totally make sense, that's okay, i'll try again when i have more brainpower. :)

What you say is diminute ascended races weapons strenght?
I don't like it :D
They alot more expansive than unascended weapons==>not so big disadvantage

Heres a thought

When you ascend you get an automatic bonus to the stat that your previous race had a boost in. If you were Tauri, you automatically get 5% to your Attack when you reach Tollan.

The remaining 5% that would go to Defence, Covert, and Income, instead becomes free points. So a total of 15 1% points that you can choose to to assign to any stat you choose.

When you reach say Prophet, Messiah, etc.....when you buy your ascended blessing Tech, it automatically adds the 5% to the original stat and creates another 15 points to be assigned.

This can allow you to make your race specific. If you wanted lots of attack bonus, you simply go to Tollan to begin with to maximax your attack bonus. At the same time, it allows those who would like to keep their all around bonus in every stat to keep it.

All you need is a time notice before update so that you can switch race to get the base bonus where you want it. Also would need something to discourage race changing, could probably just use the current method that the unascended races have.

Once you have assigned a bonus 1% to a stat, its there, can't be moved.

For fun, you can, don't have too, but can have it where for 3 MT's you can reset your bonuses so you can switch them. Personally, I think this would be better if you had to use at least 2 Weeks worth of MT's.

its quite a gd idea actually, but u should include liekt he nox, and fur'lings and so on.. but that might make it complecated so scrap that

Furlings Unas and Re'tu? People will say it's too much like Chaos server...but Furlings and Nox are part of "great raeces" so why not...
