These are seperate entities with completely different goals. The GE's goal is to better itself and help it's member alliances grow peacefully, hence why it is only a Mutual Defense Pact.

so, if any chance OSL got massed, u guys would have the backup of the OE, the GE and DDE ???

Good to see the System Lords and Goa'uld unite to take their rightful place as rulers of the galaxy. This System Lord approves as for far too long have the tiny grey asgard plagued the title of ownership of "our" galaxy.

As a defence pact, i'm not overly concerned about any super coalitions as the only time i can see an occasion when all alliances will be called into war is, when faced against an opponent of similiar strength. Sounds fair to me, but then again i'm just waiting to enslave the tauri, probe the roswell greys (Give them a taste of their own medicine) and disassemble the replicators so i have some lego to pass onto my heirs.

i honestly dont know why everyone is talking about when they say "its just a defense pact" so was the ga and the COP, all defense pacts, thats why when omega got bored that sunday and started massing, dd didnt joined

being Nox and always trying to maintain the peace throughout the galaxy, i'll just keep and eye on this defense pact
