A rather large chunk of the new faces on here are just old skooler's multi accounts anyway - isn't that right Spam Bot?

There isn't much to come here for. When I first joined I came to ask questions and learned that they had all been asked. I stopped posting. Then I went to find an alliance, oh found one, I was done with the forums. Then once I started growing bigger I came back to add suggestions. The one thing I wanted was friends, I found that in my alliance, because it can be a little intimidating to make friends who are 'large'/'well known' players.

yeah! it can be very intimidating!! some people aren't intimidating like psi or buck or apollo,there like teddy bears! lol

as for me posting alot on forums

i enjoy posting on the forums, but then my name becomesj ust that bit more known. essentially i'd like to be someone ppl know. not just the 2 time poster that ppl think "ive NEVER seen this person before".

by becoming more known across the boards adds a different aspect to the game. like rek and buck are well known right? they know more ppl too, reputation etc. im realizing this all sounds realllllllly selfish but i do it for the aspect of the social life.

its definetley hard to break into the forum commynity because people like mee feel that its run by the big boys and any post that i may make or suggestions which just get ignored.

majority of the guys are forum regulars and long time players but fresh faces can contribute sometimes too.

thanks for creating this post flavar and giving people a chance.

i post all the time even if my posts are seemingly ignored someone does notice them no matter what so dont be shy of posting

Guys guys..... we were all Newbies once. Even Buck. Don't ever be too scared to talk. Sheesh. As much as everyone postures about being a grand System Lord (myself included ) we are all geeks behind a keyboard. And we all have something in common. I won't say you may not get flamed for offering an opinion on something - or indeed possibly massed - but I have always stated that this is only half a game without the forum and the SGW community. The only way we get to meet new people if if you step forward and start crapping on like everyone else.

Its best to get massed, really helps you care less what people think.

What is a geek? A guy with big glasses and non fashion clothes I only see on american comedies?
