This film had some cool parts, but the dialouge and the supposed plot were utterly cringe worthy.

I also wished they'd used the "TRANSFORMERS ROBOTS IN DISGUISE" theme song over the main credits instead of all those needlessly grandiose string movements.

good too see they tried putting things from the cartoon into it. eg, dropping them in the sea, the line "one shall stand, one shall fall" that was in the old movie and a few others. too bad they didnt stick to original characters. police car should have been good, i wonder who decided on the characters?

whichever car company paid highest to have their cars onscreen.

Yeah I wish they would have stuck to the old vehicles too. I was expecting to see the cartoon vehicles. But I did see was them selling out. Only to make a profit by putting the Autobots as Chevy vehicles.

Oh biggest let down was Megatron not being a Gun!!!! Who decided that one.

Yea the original Police car was Prowl who was an Autobot. He was one of my favs from the original series. I was lucky enough to be the right age when this came out in the mid 80's. As for the new movie i loved it... apart from Prowl not being Prowl and being evil. I read that the writers for the movie originally had Prowl as an Autobot but the Director and Producers thought it would be "cool" to change his name and make him evil. Baracade isn't even an G1 transformer, but oh well you can't pick too much. Optimus Prime was very cool, and all up the movie was one the most enjoyable movies i've ever seen. Looking forward to the next couple but i bet they'll be years off.

How could Megatron be a gun when he was twice as big as all the other decepticons. It wasn't believable then that he could transform into a small hand gun for the others to use, making him a plane/space craft was believable... in the transformers world. I'm hoping that Galvatron is in the next movie as a cannon... now that would be cool.

yeah but its transformers, not meant to be realistic. that was the biggest let down for me. but i suppose they couldnt since how they arrived on earth and got their forms was different to cartoon.

galavtron would be good, he looked so much cooler than megatron. i bet if its gonna be a trilogly then the last one will be like old movie: unicron, etc. that would be amazing.
