Indeed you are correct buck, don't even think of wriggling your way out of our bet you jive turkey! Just used wikipedia to make sure I was using it in the right sense (I'm very white), and I got this:
The Jive Turkeys are also the club Ultimate frisbee team at **Filtered** College.
Long live wiki
And yes, turns are insanely priced. I've been buying them from the official market for $10 USD for 6k. What is the average amount they sell for? Two weeks ago I could get them for 25bil, now I see trades wanting 32bil!

just cus people can't afford it. asking 850$ or 850€ will never happen again unless some nuts guy want it so badly that he wanne waste 2 weeks working ...
just keep cool and let those prices go up it will not sell anymore in some while

Here are my views on the high inflation on AT prices, and its potential effect if nothing is done.
The main problem with this is that of the smaller players, who very soon won't be able to get hold of attack turns in any resonable quantity. A lot of newer players dont have banks that can hold 30 billion+. Heck my own bank space was only about 40 billion a couple of months ago!
I fear that the inflation which we are seeing on AT prices at the moment will soon make it nearly impossible for the smaller players to get attack turns, as they just dont have the resources at their disposal. If the smaller players can't get hold of ATs, then they can't raid, and thus will struggle to grow. All the time the bigger players will be able to buy up all of the ATs and distribute them to their friends, to give them a "boost"... thus unbalancing the game further, and driving many many players, probably including myself, to quit.
Also before someone says "they can just buy with UU"... Buying with UU also has its drawbacks. It wont be long before you start seeing AT/UU prices of 60k and higher. What is so bad about this, well there is too little profit for people buying ATs and raiding, and as such the smaller accounts can't grow. And also they don't have the naturally generated resources (Income/UP) to be able to pay for that without having to raid for it.

Some economics for you, Buck.
Those prices are based completely on supply and demand. When supply is smaller than demand, prices will rise and when supply is greater than demand, sellers are forced to sell at a lower price to attract buyers. People currently seem to be willing to pay those prices and if they buyout the sellers, naturally the sellers who aren't stupid will see they can charge even more and still sell, but higher the prices are, less people will buy and when it comes to the point where seller can't sell his goods, he'll be forced to drop the prices.
You were right so far, but you made one mistake. When he drops the prices a bit, people will be able to afford that again, so the drop won't have to drastic as you say it will be. When it comes to that, the black market will reach somewhat standard prices that will be only mildly changing. I think those prices will be quite a big higher than they currently are, because people still seem to be able to make a decent chunk of profit with current prices.
You can make the prices go down, though, but I'd say no one person - or even an alliance - would be able to make them drop artificially, since they would need A LOT of resources, then start selling under the current market prices. If you're not stocked enough you'll be bought out very soon and prices will bump back to normal.
