Well i would have thought it couldnt take all of 2 minutes to send me a messege saying "goodbye goodluck and thanks for the good times"
Infact, it only took me 6-7 seconds to type ...

While I haven't been around for the full 2 years that you've been a moderator, anyone who puts in that kind of time in a volunteer job deserves recognition.
So, thank you Buck. I'm sure there are many who appreciated your efforts and service.

buck, it's simple like that:
the moment you disagreed with the moderator team and decided to resign, their "OMG he joined the dark side! He's no longer one of us" alert got triggered and therefore they don't have to thank you. But you can be quite sure they are talking crap behind your back now.
Same goes for Bad Wolf and any other mod who has resigned.
