@ Borek - You said yourself your an inexperienced mod, modding a small section where hardly anyone posts. Meanwhile Mystake has been an admin of a few forums. I think he knows (if he a. made mistakes and b. learned from them or c. learnt from other peoples mistakes) a small bit better then you. And yeah we all know that none of you get paid, but then why did you want to be a mod? You ALL knew what the forums are like when you signed up for the job.

No, i said i mod a board with not many posters. 1st forum i was a mod on was an Ultima Online forum on Stratics about 12 years ago. I have plenty of experience which is precisely why i said he has no idea what he's saying. This isn't some little forum with 20 people posting, this is the official SGW forum, hundreds of posts on some days, large vareity of posters of all ages, from all over the world.

As for why i was made a mod then it's very simple, ETL asked me to mod the quantum boards, i never asked for the job, hell, i never wanted it, but i was asked to step up and put in the effort to help the community and mod the forum for the game i have been playing the most.

Quite simply anyone who WANTS to become a mod is automatically a bad choice, if you WANT the job then you are either incredibly nieve, a glutton for punishment, or you want the power over other posters.

Am i any good at it? Probably not, i don't read the mod forum very often and i'm usually lenient when people step over the line a bit, quite frankly q forum is pretty slow and i don't see much point in being overly strict and possibly driving anyone away. I'll keep doing it until i'm asked to step down or i stop playing sgw, and the 1st option is more likely, lol.

All i know is i wouldn't want Tok'Ra posting on my board, i'd have to spend hours each day editting or removing his spam and why should i have my time wasted doing that when the forum rules specifically say he shouldn't be posting like that...and that is regardless of the fact he was ALREADY PERMA-BANNED!

Mods are human, they make mistakes sometimes, they also get annoyed when constantly incited by people like Tok'Ra. So if you feel it's your God Given right to go around inciting the forum staff then don't come whining to us when we get fed up with it and action is taken.

And btw the only comments i have made on the Tok'Ra issue on the Mod forums were ages ago when i suggested, strongly, that his MAIN ACCOUNT was reset due to his constant rule breaking on the forum. Forum refused despite the fact he had every right to do so. so before you guys come and accuse him of inappropriate use of his powers you should have a think on the matter...Because despite repeated ban evasion, constant picking at the forum staff and basically doing everything in his power to get himself into the maximum trouble Forum NEVER took the ultimate sanction and removed his main account despite Tok'Ra thoroughly deserving it, tenfold.
