Well considering i never have any problems AT ALL unless i try to link to my Base without logging in, which i have learn't to avoid doing, then it must be down to your system. I search people via ID# all the time, never once had it mess up and log me out.

Perhaps if you just used your Browser without swapping proxy info to try and get around security you wouldn't have this problem, lol.

And then there's the whole point of using proxies for this game, i mean there is NO reason at all to use a proxy unless you're ISP uses proxy as part of it's service. My suspicion is you use proxies to multi, because to be brutally honest i can't think of any reason why you would use them otherwise, well, except to evade IP bans on the forum, but you don't need to do that for the game, just the forum.

So really Jake is 100% right, you are a moron and it's your own damn fault for trying to circumvent the game security and the forum security.

nope, playing from school or work is no reason to use a proxy at all, if you share a network IP with someone you contact Admin and ask for it to be put on his exclusion list. I know as my own IP is on said list because my ISP uses a local proxy which at least one other player shares.

If you don't cheat then you have no reason at all to use a proxy, period. But we both know you do, despite your vigorous defense, because otherwise you would not use a proxy. Using a proxy server means 1 thing, you want to mask your IP. In this game why would you want to do that? 1 reason i can think of is to Multi.

Another point is many work IT dept's would remove your interent access and you would probably get disciplined if they found out you were using an unauthorised proxy. I would imagine schools would have the same response, although they often don't have strict enough user policies and skilled enough staff to actually do it.
