Plus we had the Atomic Bomb......poor Japanese.

Either way..AA...sorry for your incident...reminds of one i had back in college...glad things seem to be going in your FAVOR so far.

As for the World Wars. I will be honest...I think the last time France had a back bone was when it was still warring with Britain during the colonization of North America...after that.....it was surrender and run away tactics. I mean what country builds a "maginot line" to defend one side of their country only to expose another side and it gets exploited in an invasion. So me being from America, I do believe that the Powerful UK would have held the line like they did....but could have eventually fallen as long as the furher stuck to his NAP with Russia. And if Japan would have not been following their own manifest destiny and attacked Pearl Harbour....the US probably would have continued to be isolationists..and only supplied weapons....but that is neither here nor there.....we all kicked butt.....it deserved a slap on the butt and say good game.

ok, Haka, we were talking about the FIRST world war. France still had a backbone then (they were right alongside everyone else defending their country). As to the comment on the maginot line - France had made the assumption that any attack would come directly from Germany, not through a neutral country like Belgium. After all, they said, what civilized nation would so wantonly ignore another's neutral status? a bit foolish in hindsight, perhaps, but understandable at the time.

Speaking of Canadians and French (which no one has), try going to google, typing French military victories and hit "I'm feeling lucky". Entertainment galore, all thanks to a Canadian!
