Catch up? nah... Wont happen for a long time...

ATs have shot up 5B in one day...

Most of the small people might as well say screw it!

Every update is aimed at the players who build their accounts to their full potential. And to be perfectly honest we're all getting more than a little tired of it!!

To be perfectly honest, with the money he makes selling naq, I'm sure he can just buy all those troops back and then some.

Do you really wonder why such updates are aimed at the "big guys"?

I thought the plague got worse the further you were away from the limit so that if you are on say 201million it's smaller, and he's on what... about 250million plus? so the plague is correspondingly worse. I'd be interested in knowing what the rate of plague increase is though

I like the new update but then I was still lamenting the fact I couldn't raid and now I can. To me once more people catch up with the army sizes it means more equal battles. Now yes, STI and those who are bigger deserve the right to be bigger, they worked hard for it, but with the old caps they were also uncatchable and that wasn't right, in my opinion. This makes it more catchable if you work hard and raid and makes for a more interesting game.

lol it still is somewhat, just for the moment everyone will be raiding but you are going to need some stats to keep enough income with to raid. The AT market will calm down in a bit once those more dedicated finish raiding to 150million .

How about some people look at it like this, the stats you need to get into the top ranks and get glory just shifted as there will likely be a mass sell off of strike to drop rank to raid?

And if there was no plague, what would he and others like him be at? 500mil? 600mil army size? Why would anyone else care to play a game when the largest armies are inaccessible? It wouldn't be a war game, it would be a Stat game.

The plague was put in to create some sort of reasonable balance, so that inconceivably large accounts couldn't get too far out of reach (even though they have gotten there).

What would you say the average army size is for the game? 100mil? 50mil?

Until the average is about 200mil, I don't see why Forum would change the plague, when he is trying to give the smaller armies a realistic chance of catching up.

So the big accounts of the game are suffering? Really, when was the last time STI's account was massed to oblivion? Caspian? Over a year ago? Never? Compare that to the losses every other account suffers with constant attacks, and not having army sizes like that to easily rebuild and carry on like nothing happened. His losses are laughable.

You can't expect to be untouchable and uneffected by the game. There will always be something to try and slow the growth, and what better way really.

The victims aren't the big guys who have the enormous armies, its those who don't have the income to be able to afford to build like that.

Sorry, but I find it difficult to sympathize with those who actively make money off the game, and then cry when their armies get slightly hindered by game updates.

Simple solution. create a stargatewars v0.1 server

Identical to main, but a new start. Anyone who has a problem trying to catch up...join the new server which hasnt been running two years.

Indeed, and he rarely does, I was referring to those who do.

I'm not disagreeing Nuto, I think the plague is a good thing and the fact that people can catch up as a good thing. Before the change people had to contemplate a 2-3million a day UP to catch up in a reasonable amount of time. Even then it would take a while. lol. So once enough people hit the new plague then a new consideration takes place. That's what I thought had happened this time. Didn't Forum say that he wasn't going to change the first caps until enough people were affected by them? So that now enough people were either close or affected the cap is updated and we all go back to growing...

I like raiding anyway. It's somewhat soothing.
