It seems this discusion is largely a matter of semantics, namely that if NAP protected alliances sell to an enemy alliance the nap will be canceled. No one seems to be denying this point, the argument is over WHO is breaking the nap. I love semantics as much as the next person and am enjoying the discusion, so long as everyone realises it probably makes no practical difference....

Honestly you guys can do whatever you want. Trying to enact a trade embargo isn't going to work. The market revolves mainly around naq, not honoring a part of a NAP that doesn't exist. If Omega, DDE, or any other alliance wishes to sell stuff to AE/TJ/SN I bet they'll do it, offically or unoffically, regardless of the NAP. Unless the NAP specificly states "You may not sell resources to an alliance that we are at war with." then selling the resources is perfectly legal. Although TLE may not like it, they will have to deal with it.

This remark doesn't make sense everyone has a choice in what they do. Just because people want to have the same view doesn't mean there not making there own choices.

So basically it was specified and any mambo jambo knows its helping your NAP person enemy and also can be easily abused as to selling bellow market prices and then making some excuses why did you do it...

I am not the first man in DL but I persumed smth said for NAPs can be stated again here officially but ofcourse noone can confirm this now can they...only DD might since it wasnt long ago we talked about it and specified it once more

I think the point that sva is tryn to make.. even thoug ppl misinterpretate it for a threat is this...

A NAP (at least from our side) was based on good faith and a posible more friendly future relationship. Thus IF having an option of not doing something to harm the other side you take it.

now i personaly dont see trading as a way to harm.. as long as rates are normal rates.. its traiding... but aperently thats my personal belif...

but if you look at it from a different perspective not so long ago.. some of our lads were tryn to descend tweety i think... than HE sold tweety dmu.. thus preventing our guys from descending her... Its true she could have gotten the dmu elswhere... but still For me personaly.. if some1 in omega was tryn to descend some1 that i know they were in war with... and he came to me asking for a dmu deal.. i d reject it... i also rejected spy recons when there was a war going on not so long ago.. but thats just me...

True its not written anywhere, but i guess it depends on the type of person more or less... So basicly the q is would you like the same cirkumstances if our roles were reversed? EG you fighting some1 and us selling them dmu so preventing their "total demise" (all hipotetical talking ofcourse)... IF you say no, than i sugest you dont trade, if you say yeah than trade away, but when you can probably expect vice versa in return.

And aperently this thread will be known for something else.. for first time i think i ll might be going back on my word.. as repulsed as i am bymyself doing that i m actualy considering it as the preasure rises
