I was having this problem.

I found that it was working fine, then I logged in form a new location and the images disappeared on me, but after I switched to the http://stargatewars.com link it is working again

some of us have been using that link since we started the game, which was well before they had to switch to gatewars.com


*bump* this is still a problem that has yet to be fixed.

hey admin, you realize this is still a problem and you haven't said anything about in almost 3 weeks, right?

So whats the fix then??????

I now use stargatewars instead of gatewars, it worked for me.

Tried that when the problems originally started, still no joy.

Try clearing cache. If that doesn't work, use one of the following URLS, ensuring it is different to the one you used before:

http://stargatewars.com/
http://www.gatewars.com/
http://gatewars.com/
http://www.thegatewars.com/
http://thegatewars.com/

I also have the problem. I am using 2.0.0.11 of Ubuntu Gutsy. It might be something to do with the cache or cookies so I'll clear them and hope that it works.

Edit: ^^didnt work. I have also tried using the other site, but they dont work for me either.

i have been using stargatewars.com for a long time. well before they had issues and had to change the link name. and as for the 6 links Amec provided, NONE of them work in Firefox.

Could it possibly be a firefox update with bugs? I havnt experience this on any other site so i doubt it. Im just exploring possibilities...

thats the thing, if it was a bug in ff, you would think it would affect more sites, wouldn't you?

I give up trying to figure it all out, because now the buttons are back for both Main, AND Chaos! I didn't update anything, nothing changed that I can see, it's just all of a sudden they started appearing again for both sites, and at the same time. Since I am unaware of anything changing on my 'puter, I figure that something was fixed on the servers. I guess the test will be if other folks who started having the problem initially, suddenly don't. I hate to think I'm the only one whose buttons now work right.
