Time they learn how to play game properly

sabbing is pointless and will teach them nothing as a few naq attacks will replace lost weaps but take out half or more of their army with a good massing...

now thats a hard lesson to learn

If you mass it long enough it's bound to move so you can mass it somemore

Dude, I still get irritated when new people decide and test my defence. Last week some dude with 2 billion army tried farming me 3 times. I only had 8 billion out and with a 175 bill def, that is sooo stupid. And then I get the classic farmers that will hit me for 2 billion out. Yeah, they normally always have an attack higher then my def and get through, but it has to hurt them more then it does me. And that same guy had farmed me more then once for around the same amount of naq. Wierd I tell you.

My idea on newbs with high defences is this, and this works great for me. Train 10% of your army into def, and another 10% into covert. It works great for me. With my covert and def combined, I have a greater chance of holding more naq out in the open (well not if stooge keeps farming me for nothing). Chances are alot of people do not blindly attack if they cannot spy me since my rank is not real low. It helped me out when I was a newb too.

How to divide your army( just a suggestion, others do it WAY different, it depends on your playing style)
10% Def
10% Covert
10% Off
60-70% Miners depending on if you have anti
0-10% Anti depending if you use it.

You could take a fair bit of damage on a first strike with those kinds of percentages.....I'd suggest a fair bit lower even.

You sab before the turn ends, and again right after, then you mass with less losses for you

I'm never farmed for 8bil or less naq
What's your def ~Alteran~?
It must be very small because I'm never farmed for less than 17bil, and most of times for 20+bil naq if it happens...and I hadn't big def at all last days

its all relative

the more players with big strikes the more players with big defences there will be

i mean if you have a 200bil defense your probably ranked about the same if not less than your rank on a 200bil strike

well i know what i mean anyway

For stat building I always choose now to pick strike instead of def because there won't be so much noobs going for a 100+bil def so I get easy ranks

Not quite... actually at 200b def you're ranked 1000, while at 100b strike, you are ranked 650.

but its still not that much of a difference and would be nice too know what rank you are with a 200bil strike im guessing like 500 or something

that means with a 200bil defense about 500 people can still farm you

A month ago before ascending I had 207bil strike/200bil def
Strike was ranked 170-200
Defense falling off top 1000 slowly but surely.
